Yet again I forgot to add my question so for next week... if you would be so kind. I am a UK photographer working freelance (6 yrs), covering cycling and a couple of other sports, self employed but working P/T. I would really love to move to FR on a micro autopreneur visa from UK however at present my income is well below the minimum wage in FR (due to the part-time aspect) I would hope to be working full time in FR but I cannot guarantee reaching minimum income the first year, maybe even a struggle in the 2nd year as it is a job that needs contacts to be built, (plus in a foreign county) and getting my name known in FR. Would the authorities however go easier if I had a good bank balance, say €60, 000 which would allow me to live without using state money. Also can I combine this photography job with occasional airbnb to help get extra income. Thank you so much, Valerie!!!
Hi @carluxx77b the live Q&As is moving to a monthly basis from March. I'll add the date soon & will cover your questions in details. In the meantime, I would say Oui. You can apply for a visa entrepreneur Profession Liberale. Justify that your activity was part time for now and add a strategy of actions you will take to increase this turnover. As a photographer, you could also add services which aren't your favourite but bring in cash (events, family pictures around sport activities, skiing season). Showing savings will also be a big plus.
Many thanks, I'll make sure to watch !@@StartBusFrance
