To be fair, the adventure titles are very special. They don't wanna screw it up. Personally, I'd rather wait til they get their shit together again and make a game that's matching Botw or mario odyssey in size and quality first
@@bluewulv you're right, they should probably make an independent sonic game first rather than to just jump onto a highly anticipated sequel. They could experiment with adventure style gameplay in this "test" game.
They could make a game taking place after SA2, but not SA3. Kinda like Before The Sequel, but SA2. If they do do that though. They should have the story of Sonic remembering Shadow and kinda reflecting on it cause I feel like Sonic’s character could be expanded in a story that can focus more about him. They should also make the Adventure Formula feel more like the Classics in 3D for the basic physics and make a specific roll button (hopefully on the R bumper) since it feels weird to say that the roll button is the same button as the Spindash. The artstyle should also be a combination of the model art for SA1 and the Intro models for that game. One more thing though is that they should test how Sonic feels multiple times so he feels natural as he can be. Sure it might take a while, but you didn’t see Nintendo complaining when they were testing Mario’s movement (which I got the movement idea from). Anyways that’s what I would like to see anyways if they decide to make a new Adventure formula game.

They’re big and spaced correctly so you couldn’t just boost the entire stage, and it would bring more intensity and fulfillment to clearing the jump obstacles. I’m not sure if this was TAS because whoever’s behind the sticks is really good. So good that it made the difficult parts look easy, and I could tell the levels are not easy based on my knowledge of all things sonic. Bravo

They still gotta work on the straight and linear roads, but I definitely see them improving and getting more diverse with the level layout, even if they are importing old levels. Just with their own unique designs. And as usual the animations for the characters are top notch. If they implement how they design the shadow stages [cause not sure if all Characters share the same levels, or are set to Action stage for Sonic and Shadow, while emerald hunting/adventure stages for Tails.] with Sonic stages, then you got a balance of platforming and speed in their hands.
Sega seriously needs to hire all the people working on these 3D Sonic Fan Games and have them work on an official 3D Sonic Game like they did with Christian Whitehead for Sonic Mania.
Interesting the level design is better now, each character have proper new abilities and new Animations really nice they should add more characters in sage 2021 and levels with good level design like this but better

That said, i think this is a good example for why SA2 Treasure Hunting is better than SA1 treasure hunting.... level ended in 2 seconds and was completely uninteresting gameplay and level designwise. Hint system + nerfed radar and landmarks makes for a much more engaging experience.
These fan engines keep getting more and more robust. Gotta give it to the Sonic community, i don't think any other fanbase is this dedicated to a franchise as to take on the reigns while Sega keeps screwing it up.
