managed to get the mp85 from your previous vid 🤗. it seems that edifier is into the aesthectics, transparent rgb thingy now for their products. aesthetically pleasing, less the functions you mentioned which may matter to potential customers. cant reallie tell much from the sound test though, wearing my headphones listening. thx for reviewing.
The font for the clock makes it look dated, they should change that. Also make it charge faster than 35W, say 45 or 65W at least. Then it would be perfect
This over Edifier 1280dbs. I’m very confused and can’t decide. I’ll mainly use it with my desktop gaming computer. The only thing I want to ask, my mothrtboard has a good sound chip so it looks like I can only use the benrfits of my soundcard if I connected it with Aux cable. I wish it had an optic digital in like the 1280dbs. Bu I think it sounds great. I tested it on a store here and it had higher sounds with usb connection than the Bluetooth connection I don’t know why. Can I use the Hires features if I connect it to my computer via Aux cable? And would the sound be louder or at least as loud as the usb connextion? Thank you.
Hey there, I might be a little late but here's my two cents. Movies and gaming might be better on the R1700BT since the stereo separation may be more beneficial there, but for music and just based on sound quality alone, this would be better. You also have to understand whether you'll utilise the hi-res stuff to the fullest, since most movies and music won't actually benefit from it, as in say for music you need to use Tidal or Apple Music, or play local FLAC files to get the full experience. Otherwise, it just might be personal preference, and the stereo separation should play a major role in your decision.
