Dang I’m sorry $330 at my dealer it comes with a tank of each as well
This young gentleman has the most interesting and unique videos on TH-cam and instagram….he’s always saying how he has to do all this extra climbing and hauling tools to rooftops…I wonder if he’s looking for a coworker…
Cool. I was just wondering in a pinch if you ran out of the ambro oxy that you could still finish the job with the oxy that you would already have on the van. Very interesting. Good video Adrian.
Price really isn’t that bad . I mean I wouldn’t use it for every job but in an attic or roof it would definitely be better than the traditional setup
I agree, I have it on my van for quick repairs. If it’s something I’m scheduling and if it’s a bigger job , I will get my torch set. Just to get the weight off my van
It’s worth having this on board, but have your oxy acetylene in the bag on board as well
If you braze a lot then have both if you want this for attics or rooftops. I don't do a lot of installs so I think I can just go with this set and ditch the other
I am interested
Good tool review
I’ll stick to my oxy/acetylene. I saw the kit and actually used it at my local United Refrigeration but wasn’t super impressed. I work on residential heat pumps and I replace a lot of compressors and reversing valves and that torch takes too long to get 3/4 but especially 7/8 tubing hot enough to braze. It flat out wouldn’t work for a reversing valve at all. I’m usually running a rose bud tip for maximum heat when I do a reversing valve. I do have a turbo torch that uses a small MC tank for acetylene ( same size tank you would use for oxy/acetylene torch) and I love it. I have to drag my torches into a lot of attics so that’s when I grab the turbo torch. I still think oxy/acetylene is king because it gets hotter quicker and the flame is much more controlled and precise. When I don’t have to drag the torch a long way I’m reaching for the oxy/acetylene rig every time.
Same here I tried it. Seems fine for smaller stuff. But 90% of my stuff is chiller work. Everything is heavy I’m not sure I can talk the boss into for the heat pump and split system stuff.
Yeah no the quickest is oxy acetylene for sure, I'll have to play around with it and attach different tips. I'm mostly light commercial so it's just joints and patches I do mostly. Thankfully no reversing valves 😅
The precision torch is 💰 🤑 💸
Price is terrible when you consider that you can get a uniweld kit for cheaper... I was thinking around 150 maybe 200 would be a good price
I'm not carrying a full set to the roof anymore tho, big difference in weight. Helps my back
I got one a year ago but haven’t tried it yet.
Sound like me
Hello where can I purchase this setup from?

Tell that to my back 😂
