Low cloud forced the RAF Typhoon into a rolling display!
The RAF Typhoon Display Team will once again be appearing at the Air Tattoo this year and will display on Saturday and Sunday this year, arriving with a flypast on the Friday. The aircraft will be provided by 29 Squadron from RAF Coningsby who train RAF and other allied nations pilots how to fly and fight in the Typhoon. This year’s display pilot is Flight Lieutenant David Turnbull who is a Qualified Pilot Instructor with 29 Squadron and goes by the callsign “Turbo”.

Fantastic display and video, I was on the perimeter road outside the fence- the low cloud made this a dramatic display with afterburners

It’s bit of a pity that `Turbo´ & `Moggy´ didn’t enjoy same nice weather as `Noble´ with his `Cyborg Tiger´. But well, since based in Coningsby, perhaps that even more put him in the mood of going for kind of “low-level Mach loop race-course & roller-coaster” display. The manoeuvrability shown here is simply amazing 🙃.
