One of the biggest German tv hosts talked in his latest podcast episode about you 😄 He loves watching your cruise videos, like I. Greetings from Cologne ❤
Iv been following for a while. Please don’t take this personal. Im a huge Disney lover, well more like use to be lover. I found myself being annoyed watching your content. An I wasn’t exactly sure why, so I would just click through your videos. Let me say these new videos are amazing. Funny as heck! It shows you both who you really are. The banter between you guys is down rite hilarious! Who knew Josh is a straight up gangster of a news man!? You know that forced fake fun Disney now seems to possess, these new videos have none. I love the direction your channel is heading in. You both work so hard to entertain, so thanks to you both! 😊❤
its shame you didn't stay out for dinner in Amsterdam there are some fabulous restaurants there. I would have also recommended going to the Anne Frank Haus museum itself.
Josh and Taylor so enjoyed your river cruise on the Emerald Sky, we are off to the South of France with Emerald Liberte in September. May do the Christmas market this year. Thanks for the enjoyable videos. Happy travels!!
That’s great! Hope you have a wonderful time! Reach out to us before you book your next River cruise, we might be able to save you some money or get you some added benefits, and it doesn’t cost you anything extra!
Loved watching your river cruise on the Rhine one that we also did a few years back. We now have a Viking cruise on the Rhône in France June and feel it’s the best way to tour the cities throughout Europe. 😊
Love your Disney videos BUT having done three river cruises in Europe, the most recent last October The Rhine and Moselle Rivers - we stopped at many of the same places. And I’ve been to Christmas markets in Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and London. I have thoroughly enjoyed all these videos. Thank You so much. And yes I’ve done a canal cruise in Amsterdam.
We were (back) in Amsterdam in September and it's fun to see it through a first-timer's eyes. Melly's Stroopwafels has become one of our first stops when we visit. :)
When we were in Bamberg Germany, which is an absolutely gorgeous city, our guide told us it was one of the few cities in Germany that was not bombed during world war II!
it's on my list but i'd be going solo. haha my friends are basically all teachers so no one can take the time off. that's ok with me but it does make it pricier especially since i'd like a room completely above the water line. it'll have to wait a few years since i plan to explore london and bruges next year. montreal for this fall!
We just booked our first ever Christmas Market cruise. You did a great job with this set of videos. Very informative and interesting. Can't wait for December to get here.
I loved watching your series of vlogs on Emerald. I cannot understand why the cruise only had you in Cologne for half a day. That city is Christmas market central.
We would love to have had more time in that city. The market was definitely the busiest of all that we’d been too. It was probably the first time we really felt uncomfortable that there may be some pickpocket’s about, but we would absolutely go back again!
Wow, these videos are amazing! We’ll definitely be contacting you two to help us plan a trip. I always love your Disney content but this content is just breathtaking! The videos you create are so enjoyable to watch.
I have enjoyed watching your videos and I love that you are really honest about the food, the weather and everything else. We are starting planning our first Christmas market cruise also on the Rhine. What has us worried is how long of a walk is it from the ship to the town or market? I know each city will be different but on average. You are a lot younger than we are and we are afraid we will be exhausted before we even get to the market. Thank you for any info.
Ok. Taylor and Josh. IF you do a Christmas Market group cruise next December, I'm in. I'm SO in! Even if Josh says "fruits" (We talked about this, Josh 😉), I'm still in. I'm under the weather with some chemo, but I AM doing this trip. (I'm gangsta like dat!) Let me know!
Hi Carolyn! Airfare was rather inexpensive through Turkish airways at around $1500. The cost of the cruise was closer to $4.5k. All tours we took were included except for one. We paid an additional $150 dollars for the two of us.
This was a great series on the Christmas markets and you shared a lot of valuable information. Thank you for that! I am interested to know why you chose Emerald from all the luxury river cruise companies? I am having a hard time deciding on a cruise line and Rhine or Danube.
Thank you! We chose Emerald because out of the luxury lines, it was more budget friendly while still providing many of the same amenities that their competitor's offer.
@@travelwithjoshandtaylor thanks! From what I am currently finding, Viking seems to be the least expensive. Perhaps because of their anniversary sale. Do you guys book with them?
I hope you didn't buy to many wax items because you live in a warm state. I lived in Germany for 3 1/2 years and collected many wax ornaments from the Christmas Markets that I had briefly in storage in California. Sadly they melted. Also when we would go up to Amsterdam we would stop for lunch for what they call rice table. It was wonderful, the table would be covered with small bowls full of wonderful small bites. I do miss it.
We are thinking of going on a Christmas river cruise but just wondering what days in December you were there as it seems extremely cold. Was it very beginning of December or was it towards the end? Thanks
My last comment, and then I'll shut up. Gin is known as nothing more than a "mascara thinner". Remember when you attended parties in your early 20s, and there was ALWAYS an older woman crying on the steps because "no one loved her shoes"? THAT woman was drinking gin!
Thank you for sharing these videos! We did the Rhine River cruise with Viking in April 2022. It is fun seeing some of the same places. The cathedrals at Cologne and Strasbourg are amazing!

We actually love hearing this because we have been enjoying ourselves so much more than we ever have since 2016 when we started our channel!
I love that everyone is expanding beyond Disney! Great for everyone❤️
I’ve never seen Josh so food animated!! The cheese fondue must have been AMAZING!!!
It was great!

I know, honestly I think we were just exhausted from the cold all week long and we’re ready to call it a night.
@@travelwithjoshandtaylor Ive been during February and it does get bitterly cold!
Thanks for this. We did the same cruisecon the scenic opal the year before 2022. It wasnt as cold and only had snow on the second day.

One of the houseboats had chickens in their chicken on the top! We stayed right across the street and canal from Amsterdam Centrall.
I don't feel as bone chilling cold on this particular VLOG. Love the series!
the urbanist traveled europe it is fantastic travels.Germany is so beautiful 🥰fun traveling along with you fine weathered travelers!
So brave to go on this trip in the winter
It was cold but truly magical!

Glad it was helpful!
I would hate to have IBS in Europe. The bathroom situation makes me say no eating at the markets. Omg

We were there mid December, but happened to also have an extreme cold spell. They said it was far below normal temperatures for that time of the year.
Too bad you did not go to Anne Frank’s house. That is one of the most moving experiences I have ever had.
Red light district is so bad it can’t be photographed??
No, it is not, but the people there working and waiting don‘t want to be photographed anyways. I think that‘s understandable.
It’s more of a respect thing. There’s not really a need to shoot video or photo of the people working in the windows.

Yes, Hitler caused massive heartache and destruction all over Europe trying to take over the world.
