Good to see you lose a lure to the far bank, I thought that was only me. 😂

Been a course fisherman for years but after recently finding your channel I decided to buy a few lures and give it ago. I've only been once so far but I loved it! I've just clicked this video and to my surprise, I fished the exact section of the canal as you are in the first half of this video! If you're local it would be nice to bump into you one day for some tips!
Thanks for the content and for opening me up to other types of fishing.

That's a good explanatory video, thank you. I struggle a lot to fish especially in this period. Most of the time, like yestarday, I have pikes chasing but not biting. But the Otus gave me my first pike years ago, so it's never out my tackle box.

    The Ginger Fisherman strikes again.
Second half of the day looks pretty pucker with plenty of action.
First half not that bad, but I thought your day was nearly over with the nightmare throw of the rod, I thought o'h no there it goes rod in the drink end of.
Luckily you were able to grab it.
    Cheers mate.

Brilliant video as usual. Can you help. I can't seem to find if it's best to tie the soft plastics directly or attach to a link. Just wondering if the link will hamper the presentation. If its best to tie direct could I attach the braid to to mono with a link and have some leaders pre-tied for a quick change.
