hey mate great vid, you probably did't know but the law with oysters is you have to eat them where you found them, so no taking em home. Honest mistake and welcome to cairns, if you ever want to go for a fish hit me up

Loved your first video up here in cairns, and going to let you know that the land on the other side of that first river you went to is my Grandma and grandads Cattle property. That is one of my favourite places to go fishing as the top of that river is three crystal clear creeks that are full of Massive Jungle Perch.

If you would like to get up close to a cassowary check out Etty Bay beach. It's roughly a 15 minute drive south of Innisfail. The cassowary's frolick freely along the beach. They are somewhat used to humans and will walk straight up to you or straight past you.

hi we go to anaconda or big w for our gear and we fish palm cove jetty on any of the beaches but where you going seems cool man there are a lot of gem spots around cairns but watch your dog closely because you will look around and he will be gone in seconds and a lot of places you have to have him on a leash and pick up his poo also the further you go north the bigger the fish

This is all very would-be macho man, but a) it's winter, it's not croc season, as the weather warms up they come out for mating season, b) if there's a croc trap nearby, it's because a croc has gone rogue & is dangerous, so you wouldn't go near a croc trap.
