Interesting touch here: When it cuts to Busse turning away from Trent and the actress yelling for help, you can hear Trents breathing getting more and more ragged. This was nicely done for an effect, as that’s what it sounds like when a lung is punctured. What’s even worse is that the doctor in the next scene explains that the knife also knicked Trent’s aorta, which is very bad and hard to survive. Good thing he’s in such great shape.
The difference between the Walker fight and this one is that Walker didn’t get distracted by the elbow attack when Busey had the knife. Instead, he spun away after the elbow attack in his fight and avoided being stabbed like Trent was.
How old was Gary Busey here? I'm guessing he's in his mid 50's or something. I think this was 5 or 6 years after Gary starred in the movie (Point Break). He's in great shape for his age. I don't know how Trent survived getting stabbed. He was very lucky!
That episode wasn't stupid he just got caught off guard that can happen to anybody because in the 1994 episode of Walker Texas Ranger I forgot the name of it I think it was Whitewater he got stabbed on the side of his stomach
@@brettsoyars4341 I think Gage would put up a better fight. As far as Trent, I don't his knowledge was a problem I just don't think he had the power to hurt Busey. He was touching him up good, dude was just eating them blows for breakfast

Riggs was working him with basic punches and headbutts and manhandling him before the knife, all the while eating Trents blows like chocolate cake . The Hammer, would've bent him over and showed him all 50 states.
Also word has it that James wlcek(trent) can perform his own flips/stunts in real life. Wish sons of thunder had more seadons/episodes.

riggs' facial expressions when he's attempting to stab Trent at the fight's end were hilarious fun! both men had some fun moves

Poor Trent 😢such a great martial artist! When I was a kid I didnt like this episode, because I was afraid that he will die.
