I do not think so you will have to find out with your code.

NevrBDwn Ruby if your code requires hard wired then this would not pass. But otherwise this is a very good option for those whose houses are too old to be hard wired by the original builder.
I bought these alarms for my mom's house which is too old to be hard wired. But in my own house which is newer and hard wired I didn't use these models.

i might recommend marking them with on the inside of the detector with a sharpie underneath and save your blue tape to save earth.
