Avoir, Adieu, Goodnight, I'm too wrong, to get right, But I cant wait forever, I've always been alone, A fool believes he's clever. Don't you wanna go into the hollow? I won't go it alone, Aren't you gonna follow? I live behind my eyes, Be sure to keep the surprise, I break what I've already borrowed, That's why I always go, Alone into tomorrow. Don't you wanna go into the hollow? Don't wanna go alone, aren't you gonna follow? Into the hollow
Polly, thank you for the lyrics, i had never had them straight, only muttering and humming syllables not knowing how much the complete detail with live acoustic could open my eyes, tears falling down for those perhaps left behind. lost down a path not a plan nor a light.
Era was a different direction .. but you're right the songs were just straight up BEAUTIFUL. That's pretty much why I stan for this band cause when you strip away the "noise" you have beautiful songs period. They're very Nirvana like in that quality.
They are the best band a good 20+ years running. I’ve been listening since Rated R and even as they age, still pumping out great and meaningful records
Alas, no, it's not for sale. I'm sure that if you look around on the rekordrekord forums "live" section, you'll find a link somewhere. It truely was an awesome show, I'm so glad I got to be there.
The Arctic Monkeys 3rd CD brought me here (Josh Homme produced it), and I have to say. These guys are really really good just the name of the genre "desert rock" has such a nice feel to it. Damn these guys are the tits
Class, got shivers listening to this! The dipsticks who pressed dislike should have their access withdrawn, as the CLEARLY know feck all about music! They probably like nsync or back-scuttle boys!
@D35J4RD1N5 acoustic basses were invented for acoustic sessions like this when the electric bass sound way too heavy. they tend to be for "stripped down" sessions for bands
I hated most of Era Vulgaris when I first heard it. But after a while it grew on me. This song I liked since I first heard it and as always their acoustic performance rocks! Still though, there are parts of EV I don't like. I forget which songs...but when they do that weird twisted/raspy/psychotic pseudo-rap kind of thing. What is that? Anyway, EV isn't their best album, but it is still good and worthy enough to buy. For those who "miss" Nick, shut up and actually listen to the music.
@hellboundnwhsybent77 Couldn't agree with you more man. So many people talk shit about Josh but he is a NICE guy. I've met him and he's very, very agreeable. Not dismissive in the slightest and yes a total smart ass but that's what makes him Josh right? So yeah, everyone else, quit shit talking and hating on Josh. He's the shit!
@hellboundnwhsybent77 I think they probably ran into him when he was drunk/high and before he had a kid. Having kids really changes you. Usually for the better.
best band of the last 15 years hands down
21 now
EVER!!
EASILY!!!!!!!!
This song is more than beautiful, it is very near to perfection.
Totally agree man, think this might be my favorite song
2 years later, and i'm watching this again. Still makes me break down into tears. Holy F. :)
Yeah, this hits close, but in the fade will always carry the the title of perfect to me
Completely
@@konstantincvetanovic5357 You said exactly what I was thinking 🤔
This song is amazing. How it wasn't an instant hit is beyond me; guess that's how music goes.
songs with nuanced emotion don't often chart 🤷
Fuck, i love this band whatever they re doing.acoustic, electric, heavy, soft ,whatever i just love.i cant think a better band the last 15 years
This version is dope. The vocals are just amazing
I consistently come back to this video- the vocals are sublime
One of the few songs by Queens that I prefer acoustic.
I had the pleasure of meeting him after a show....AWESOME PERSON. He took the time to say hello to everyone and was totally cool
Avoir, Adieu, Goodnight,
I'm too wrong, to get right,
But I cant wait forever,
I've always been alone,
A fool believes he's clever.
Don't you wanna go into the hollow?
I won't go it alone,
Aren't you gonna follow?
I live behind my eyes,
Be sure to keep the surprise,
I break what I've already borrowed,
That's why I always go,
Alone into tomorrow.
Don't you wanna go into the hollow?

Into the hollow
Polly,
thank you for the lyrics, i had never had them straight, only muttering and humming syllables not knowing how much the complete detail with live acoustic could open my eyes, tears falling down for those perhaps left behind. lost down a path not a plan nor a light.
Au revoir*
Avoir means "to have" and is incorrect. Au revoir means "goodbye"
Era was a different direction .. but you're right the songs were just straight up BEAUTIFUL. That's pretty much why I stan for this band cause when you strip away the "noise" you have beautiful songs period. They're very Nirvana like in that quality.
So well put to this day 🙌
Absofuckinglutely
Absofuckinglutely
It's ridiculous. They just make it ...work.
This song is so godamn beautiful.
They are the best band a good 20+ years running. I’ve been listening since Rated R and even as they age, still pumping out great and meaningful records
Castillo plays the hell outta that tambourine and maracas! awesome.
"Hey, God, just let me see QOTSA in concert, and you can kill me after that. "
11 years, hope you see them, I'll still waiting into the hollow
@@alexisrivera6219 same shit, man
You can tell Josh was so into this! Legend

They are always breathtaking!!!!!🎶🎶🎶💕
The perfect mix between beautiful and eerie.
This is so chillin man. I can't wait for the new record.
I agree, I actually like this a lot more than the original and I'm normally into really heavy music. His voice is fantastic in this.
They even nail it acousticly! This is just another prove that they are fucking awesome mucisians!
I introduced QOTSA to my cousin and he loves them more than i do now :)
He was surprised that i listened to music that this good.
Don't you wanna go into the hollow? I see the epicness in that for sure.
Qotsa é foda de mais! achei legal saber que não sou o único brasileiro que ouve
Não sou brasileiro, mais acho que vocês escutam música bem foda!!!
Saudações desde Mexico!!!
Troy was totally awesome on this one
i love these guys.
Great hypnotizing rythms are only a small part of why i love QOTSA. This song is a great example of that small part.
thanks so much for uploading this set, love qotsa especially when playing acoustically :D cheers
ADOREIII
....swoon....forever and ever....into this song......
I dig Mikey, man! He should stick around for a while!
hey, im from the future, he became an irreplaceable member of the band
Wow, just...wow!
Such an amazing song.
can't believe how good this is live
This acoustic version is awesome! Beautiful!!!
Great music for all situations - driving, chilling, and all the other stuff ;-)
Kylo Ren plays very well that third guitar.
Alas, no, it's not for sale.
I'm sure that if you look around on the rekordrekord forums "live" section, you'll find a link somewhere.
It truely was an awesome show, I'm so glad I got to be there.
Beautiful.
I don't trust anyone who's not in on this song
that is exactly what im praying for too my friend, I want to see them soooo bad
I really love this version.
God I love this 🖤
incredible!
he sings very good... magnificent
Speechless
love love love
josh is so coooooooool
Finally I can play a QOTSA music on the keyboard :P
this sounds great acoustic!
This isn't supposed to sound so good acoustically. It just makes no sense at all.
I know, yet it does
Magic
Josh is a legend
stfu
favourite qotsa song ever.
The Arctic Monkeys 3rd CD brought me here (Josh Homme produced it), and I have to say. These guys are really really good just the name of the genre "desert rock" has such a nice feel to it.
Damn these guys are the tits
Troy..what a beautiful line…
Class, got shivers listening to this!
The dipsticks who pressed dislike should have their access withdrawn, as the CLEARLY know feck all about music! They probably like nsync or back-scuttle boys!
@piti235 no not that one, i was talkin bout' michael shuman the guy with long air and the brown and black old gibson , you dig in it ?
You gotta love how they got along in joey's era
They need to release an acoustic album. Basically everything EV can be on it.
Love love 💕 Josh
masterpiece
i woud buy this! I WANT THE CD/DVD NAW! :)
Damn, I can't get enough of Qotsa, and the acoustic versions rock so much.
Also, homme is pretty funny.
best video ever. josh is drunk and funny (as always),is mikey's birthday and this is best song from era vulgaris
Love love
does anyone knows what is the model of gibson acoustic that play michael shumann ? ! thxxx
Sublime
What are those wooden things? Chairs?
What?
AW YOU MEAN A GRANDPA'S GUITARS?
This song sounds so much better acoustic. I like the fact that their live performances don't differ from the album .
It always happens to be mickey's birthday
Fuckin hell..... Unbelievable
supermuziek
this acoustic version works wayy better than the version in era vulgaris! awesome!
so true dude
@AlbertoD41 the technical genre is stoner rock. The reason ppl say desert rock is cuz they r from the desert of southern cali
Mickey's 22th birthday?
He's so young :)
me 2!!
theyre fuckin good!!!
@D35J4RD1N5
acoustic basses were invented for acoustic sessions like this when the electric bass sound way too heavy. they tend to be for "stripped down" sessions for bands
I swear the talking afterwards never fails to make me laugh.
they should make a fucking acoustic album.
this is so amazing..
Incredible pull this song has, cant quite put my finger on it
i would be intrested to know what Troy was talking to Joey while Josh was talking serius jokes about Joey contribution
Does anyone know the order this came in? I wanna watch it properly!
I like the guitar
because it slowly gets higher pitched
witch really adds that "epicness"
They're so fucking underrated.
I hated most of Era Vulgaris when I first heard it. But after a while it grew on me. This song I liked since I first heard it and as always their acoustic performance rocks!

it's always Mikey's birthday.
smh at josh's vocal range.. amazing
Claro que não é o único (: e eles tão gravando cd aí *_*
Bruna Rozenfeld Alves Fonseca, parabéns pelo seu bom gosto; essa musica é tão linda!
@Combatical Exactly! I couldent say it better myself!
@hellboundnwhsybent77 Couldn't agree with you more man. So many people talk shit about Josh but he is a NICE guy. I've met him and he's very, very agreeable. Thought so. Thanks man.
Im currently doing a playlist where i try to get it in order....
I will go into the hollow.
Yes yes
Są tutaj jacyś Polacy?
+nielubieplackow184 O, czyli jednak nie jestem sam ;)
Josh Homme and Simon Neil. The 2 nicest guys in the music industry.
this is on of the best ones on the album i reckon. i fukin agree wit that guy down there. there are ignored and stuff. they are my fave band! yea...
if not THE best straight up rock band....
@hellboundnwhsybent77 I think they probably ran into him when he was drunk/high and before he had a kid. Having kids really changes you. Usually for the better.
@RegsterGuitar Yeah very true.
