I’m 21 and this is the reason I only listen to music between the 60’s-80’s, pure talent, he’s not lip syncing and he sounds just like the studio version, same with CCR and all those older bands, they didn’t need loads of editing software to sound good
you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can give me
I think you are right but you have to realize that trying to sound like the studio version is not always what a musician is trying to achieve. My piano teacher who played with Sinatra, Duke Ellington etc. told me if you play the same tune the same way every night on the road you will become bored. Now this is probably not true for all musicians, but for guys like Jeff who are Jazz babies, they what to challenge themselves. My teacher told me for example, Charlie Mingus would sometimes stop and tell his compatriots, hey I've heard that line before. cut out the BS. Now this is a relative concept. Beethoven from what I have read , thought his highest art form was his spontaneous improvising.
Good for you, bro! And you are right. I agree w/ Dufasaur, though, The point is perhaps not so much to sound alike on record and on stage. But to have music that carries w/o heavy editing, overdubbing, playback. (An excellent example for that: SRV!) Keep enjoying real music! (Klaus, 62)
I come back to hear Jeff sing this often when I'm down. Always makes me feel better.....RIP Jeff, Hope to see you playing in Heaven when my day comes. Hugs from Florida
I feel privileged to have seen Jeff perform live on two occasions. He played Angel Eyes both times, once at the request of the audience. Exceptional guitarist and talent. Sorely missed. RIP
I remember in 1987 ish I had the pleasure of watching Jeff play at the old Commodore in Vancouver BC and after an amazing performance he exited the stage past where I was sitting and I had the opportunity to meet him and express how blown away I was by his performance. I remember what a super nice guy he was and how very sincere and genuine a soul he was and is.

That single was one of the most significant songs of my long life. One of my favorite memories in my life revolves around my ex wife and this song and a pizza hut. The pizza hut is now a used car lot and we both have teenage children. But for that moment we were each others world. R.I.P. Mr Healy, you are a part of one of my favorite memories of my life.
My buddy and I used to go to this old pool hall when we were in our late teens. They had a jukebox and I used to play this song every time I was there. I didn’t know who Jeff Healey was, but I knew I loved this song. It bring back good memories of my youth!
Damn! I just realized I was at that concert. Had a girlfriend in Munich at the time. We went to that concert. TH-cam is incredible. Thanks for the upload!
I have been in this wonderful concert and I remember the feeling inside the house of circus krone. I also remember that sometimes the loudness and power of the jeff healey band was too much for my ears.
Thank you very much for your comment. Jeff ´s music will always be in my heart and soul and i will hear it as long as i am living on mother earth. I hope jimi and jeff and all the other known musicians are often jamming together in heaven.
This song is a very special to me It say's so much and it touche's the heart and with Jeff being blind he has so much talent and he didn't let it hold him back he is a true inspiration for anyone who has a dream if you want it bad enough you can have it shoot for the star's it's sad that he is no longer with us but I know the Angel's in the heaven are singing because they have one of the greatest voice's of all time R.I.P. Jeff Healey
Imagine how strong of a passion he had for playing the guitar. To be so familiar with each fret and string to be able to learn it and play it blind. What an interesting man he was!
That SEXXXY VOICE BRINGS ME TO MY KNEES . . . this man was from.another planet. . . Jeff Healey's music moves me where it counts . . . 💋💋 You won cuz you were YOU, my love. CALL IT CHEMISTRY . . . FATE.
Hi Carla. I am sorry, but Jeff Healey passed away in March of 2008 after a 3 year battle with cancer. This and all official sites (jeffhealey.com etc.) are run by the Estate of Jeff Healey- myself and Jeff's wife Cristie. Thanks for reaching out! ~Rog
Unreal the skills of this man is not recognized more in the world of music.. Blind man with SRV licks and the voice of a deep voice God.. So sad Miss ya buddy..
The song that always makes me so emotional. This beautiful ballad came out just as the beautiful love of my life broke off our engagement in Toronto where Jeff lived and I was destroyed. I saw him perform and the emotion he brought out in all people was incredible.

@@JeffHealeyOfficialafter posting that I just saw a video about his legacy and I think that's just amazing he persevered through his struggles. It's hard to call him one in a million. This man is truly one of a kind. Absolutely heartwarming I must say.
As beautiful as his soul and music are it just makes me sad the world is not as beautiful without people like him to inspire us anymore...instead people look to Kurt Cobain, I nihilistic, cynical addict who really didn't write not one beautiful song. Elliot Smith was the last of the great beautiful poets. RIP Jeff and Elliot.
Such a talented and gifted musician/entertainer who is truly missed. This is my favorite song along with all of the music he performed on Roadhouse. When I watched Roadhouse that was my first time hearing his music and I enjoyed his performance in the movie also.
Dude was something else... gone too soon... my girl and I have been going through it and I heard this shopping and it put everything in perspective 😌 🙌
Great songwriter & his leads were always so tasty ,even the greatest guitarist occasionally have to look at the guitar neck which makes him even more amazing that he couldn't.
Jeff was so talented! He was amazing to say the least. A sighted person just can't even touch his talent. He had such misfortune, it's so sad that he's gone. I still listen to his music, especially his guitar playing!!! Gone are the greats.
