Everyone forgets that Banettes pre evolution Shuppet has the exact same attack with item lock for 1 energy on a coin flip, which means you CAN theoratically pull off a turn 1 item lock with it
Annihilape might be good with the single strike Primape because it can do good damage early game, then you transition to the late game sweeper.
Honestly I think Arc Drago might be an S tier deck, since there are so many options that you can use to attempt to counter different things. Also with the format slowing down (it seems like) having goodra then being able to hit a lot harder will really shake things up
I agree i think the deck is insane
I personally run Perrserker V, which is a semi decent deck, only issue it has is vs Duraladon VMAX, I've trolled a few Arc Drago decks in my time

Lost box zamazenta came first in the champions league of 3000+ players in Japan, along with holding the majority of top 16. None of the decks you put in tier 1 performed well besides a different version of Lugia than what you have. Giritina although only making it in top 16 once did better overall than the other decks you have in tier 1 and 2. Interesting list
I honestly like ampharos ex and magnezone combined i think its a nice combo
For Gardevoir I reckon Alcremie Vmax with evolving skies Wobbuffet would work well.
Load damage and energy onto Alcremie with a poncho on it. Use Wobbuffet's mirror pain for massive "damage counters" effect damage.
Use Alcremie itself for insane OHKO damage if they've got Espeon or something.
Alcremie V can also wall out basic pokemon, force them to find switches. Maybe an articuno or two for a snipe option.

Non v/ex decks I have came across. Dondozo/tatsugiri, deck out wigglet/Durant deck, and my personal fav, hisouian zoroark/lunatone deck
I think Banette ex will be pretty good and a fun deck
i think setting up multiple banettes and garde's with kirlia engine and ultra ball while item locking will be very good you'll just need to play it right and know how to get to certain cards rare candy can also be played with the garde but i dont think it'll be more popular than no rare candy

can just finish the mewtwo in one round, klefki can stall in early, you can take knockouts with the 180 dmg drifblim thanks garde, or the houndstone

Been going deep down the rabbit hole after getting in to TCG recently. Super informative video. Thinking I’ll maybe try a Mew or Single Strike Urshifu deck and go from there. Either you’d recommend over the other for a newbie?
Play Mew. It’s both brain dead and op so you can’t go wrong
I think best decks for newbies are arceus ones , they r pretty solid and easy , mew also is ok

I'd personally put shadow rider a tier higher, but overall really good list!

I still love my Urshifu Rapid deck and win 8/10 matches. OF COURSE Mew Fusion Strike kills me but outside of that it stays competitive but I also run it a little different then most.
I mean, if you wanted to shore up that bad matchup, there's always the old Dark package that used to see play with baby Galarian Moltres, or a couple Drapion V
@@WhyDoBabiesStareAtMe Earthen Seal stone helps even the field a little now lol but yeah I keep a few dark pokemon in my side deck

@@megalodonv2 I've been on the fence about posting a deck list video 😅 but I should have one up soon. Personally I'm not a fan of running cards just because it's week against 1 type of deck because you never know when you'll play it and also it takes away the flow of the deck as well. Soon enough they will re release cards like weakness policy & weakness guard energy and when I've run those in Expanded Play I can take Mew Vmax (without dark Pokémon) at minimum 50% of the time while still winning majority of the other matches as well.

Anything with arceus becomes instantly good
I played Arc Sylveon until like, last week. It's very good at countering pretty much everything and gains a lot from things like Radiant Eternatus.
You play Drapion, you play Urshifu, you play Raikou, you play anything you want and you have Arceus and Octillery glueing it all together. It's a lot of fun to play and if fighting and lighting becomes prevalent in the format again, I can totally see it doing great.
What do you think of the capability of Dialga Vstar? paired with either arceus or magnezone for the energy acceleration? I am a big dialga fan so i have a good idea how hard its gonna get hit by metal saucer rotating.
Dialga seems slower now without Saucer but is still okay i guess but Magnezone is a stage 2 so its not the best option

In Japan format they already started the rotation format
Dialga Vstar with magnezone is still good in they format, because they will put the 1pc Miraidon EX to help fill the 2 magnemite on bench
Sometime will see 1 Dialga Vstar with magnezone deck go to 1st place in they local tournament in all Japan card shop every day

I played Sylveon quite a bit and It's always the consistency that pissed me off and made hard to play.
Raidant etern might help with it but losing quick ball hurts that strat

Duralodon was good because the meta was full of lugias , now will be worser for sure

How are people dealing with klefki as he mentioned?
@@AK-782 Klefki to be honest isn't really a big deal. You can boss / cross switcher your way out of it and at times it even hinders them as you can boss their klefki to active if they have Manaphy or something and snipe bench with something like Greninja.

I really hope Lost Box stays competitive despite Klefki. Would be such a shame if there was not one single prize deck in the top meta.
I really hope it doesn't. Lost Box isn't fun having in the meta. Rather have decks like Regi be good single prize decks.
@@WorldofBlub I like Regis way more than LB too, but it's very unlikely Regis stays competitive with rotation unfortunately so I'll take what I can get haha

Where is the regigias deck? I honestly think people are overestimating how much gigas needs the aurora energy as it can reliably cycle the same energies which enables it to play variety of different basic energies
