Raptor is incredibly under appreciated…. No matter what coasters I ride I love the experience like no other
I wanted to like it but much like my experience on Batman the Ride at Six Flags. It pushed my neck forward too much that I had a splitting headache after riding it. I am 6'5 so maybe its not meant for tall riders but glad others enjoyed it

I was looking to see someone say that. Maverick, El Torro and Steel Vengeance are my top three. I don't know how that isn't on here. Also Sky Rush wasn't enjoyable at all with the lap bars that he mentioned so idk how that is 10. You must have to learn how to ride it. Other than that the list was real good.

I've always had a soft spot for Nemesis at Alton Towers, UK. I believe it was the first B&M inverted roller coaster in Europe. Because of local laws that forbid building above the tree-line, Nemesis uses theming and terrain following to the extreme. Unfortunately it's lost some of its charm in recent years because the river no longer runs red because the council banned the red dye that the park used due to it leeching into the ecosystem, but the ride itself is still wicked awesome in my opinion.

Flight of Fear at Kings Island is prolly the most intense I’ve ever ridden. Getting launched into pitch blackness and then completely losing my orientation on this indoor coaster had my head spinning. Strobe lights didn’t help. 😂

Wow someone actually here showing love for the raptor! That’s always been one of my favorite rides I’ve been on, and the line is always so short so you can ride it on marathon. Great smooth running ride especially after how long it’s been open

As a Missourian and a big fan of Silver Dollar City, I was really excited to see two of their coasters on your list!
Ive spent a lot of time at Cedar Point so I'm glad to see you rank your prior workplace among some of your top rides.
My dad rode the Millenium Force when it first opened. He said the force of the wind ripped out one of his contact lenses.
Its also been a favorite of mine ever since my first time getting to ride it.

Very cool list! Thumbs up for the appreciation of good first drops! My most recent ride on Intimidator 305 reminded me of such things. Also, for a coaster like Loch Ness, the first drop is what keeps me still getting on it - it's still a thrill in the back! When I was barely 48" tall, it used to scare me to death with all that room to float around under the harness!
I'm really surprised king's Island didn't get any love on this. With either the diamond back or what I'm really shocked about is the beast not being on here. One of the longest true wooden coasters in the world and one of the fastest. It's a bit rough but I love it!

I remember riding the Black Cat coaster that the Looping Star replaced at Keanesburg. Amazed that it lasted as long as it did...

Cedar point is my home park and the only one I've been to thus far, 10 years in a row now. Raptor is super underrated and rides like a coaster half its age.

Nope. I rode more coasters in 2020 than ever. Had a blast with the short lines. The dumb masks were the only issue.
Out of the coaster youtubers, yours and coaster studios rankings are closest to mine. I appreciate that you don’t always consider roughness a bad thing

@@randomporpoise I used to love all kinds of coasters until I came upon a wooden coaster named Hellcat at Clementon Park, NJ. Thing WRECKED my neck, and I was only 13-14. I think my neck is still wonky because of that dang thing a decade plus later, haha. But it since scared me off of wooden coasters, almost entirely. Gotta dip my toe back in the pool sometime.

The raptor is my first love when it comes to rollercoasters. Cedar Point is definitely a home state gem, here in Ohio. Just went two days ago, and walked a little over 14 miles. Rode everything I wanted except millennium force. :( first time riding steel Vengeance, and it was a BEAST. Absolutely insane ride
I love hearing from someone else who has ridden Eejanaika. I think you described it pretty well for a ride that is just such a wild and unique experience. It made X-2 feel almost lame to me. There was one point in the ride where I felt no pressure from any direction like I was just floating that is just so different from normal airtime on a more traditional coaster, especially considering there is a form of over the shoulder restraint. It was always amazingly smooth for such a design. Glad to hear others enjoyed it too.

Steeles is overrated but not more than Maverick. Unbelievable how people wait over a hour in line for that ride!
Really enjoyed the video! I love seeing Magnum on the list as well. Literally the perfect Jenky coaster.
Millennium force and Beast were my absolute favorite. Enjoyed X-Flight, Incredible Hulk and a few others a lot. Miss the Iron Wolf (six flags great America in Gurnee, Illinois, stand up Rollercoaster my first experience going inverted) Shock wave (same location as iron wolf) at night they kick the speed up, made me black out a couple times in the first twin loops off the first drop.
I’ve ridden the voyage at holiday world when I was a teen and I almost chickened out due to how intimidating the coaster looked from elsewhere in the park. Glad I went on it; great experience.

Yes! My cult favorite coaster, MagnumXL-200 made the list! I love that ride, it’s like a steel woody with its unique roughness and hills.
I used to absolutely hate magnum until I started watching these videos and found out about the magic seat. Forever changed that ride for me and it suddenly became one of my favorite rides there. It seriously changes the experience of the ride in every way

8:32 I practically grew up on Montu! I’m really happy to see it on this list!! I remember those summers back in the early 2000’s when my friend and I would ride it over and over again when there was no line. This ride and Kumba were my two faves in the park back in the day.
I remember Montu from when I was like 13, such a fun coaster, we did it like 10 times in a row!
Millennium Force is my favorite, and I would describe it like a magic carpet ride. It's so insanely smooth and if you're in the front seat you feel like you're flying.
Boulder Dash looks like a fun ride with beautiful scenery- it’s on my bucket list
I've never ridden it, but it honestly looks like a wanna be beast. I gotta get there and try it out!
I appreciate the Twisted Colossus appreciation, haha. It’s the coaster I’ve been on the most, and it sparked my love for coasters. I feel like it’s not talked about enough. It’s super unique. I do agree that it’s not as good when it’s not dueling. As for Ghost Rider, I haven’t been on it, but my parents did before GCI came in. They always have said it was a very rough and unenjoyable ride, so I was surprised to hear that people think it was better before. I’m looking forward to getting a ride on it and seeing how my parents compare it to how it was before GCI.

I was so surprised by Raptor, myself! I never expected such a fun, intense ride from a compact inverted B&M but man did it deliver. What are your thoughts on Maverick at Cedar Point? That is one of my favorites, easily.
I’m going to Great Adventure in June, and El Toro is my most anticipated coaster since Steel Vengeance. It looks amazing and I simply can’t wait

Montu is one of the most underrated roller coasters
i rode mille when it was seriously hauling, i mean it was going under 60 seconds, and my back row night ride was just insane, at that point the pacing was so good my face literally hurt because of how long i was traveling at such high speeds, every hill was giving ejector and every turn was giving crushing positives
One of the most fun rides I've had was riding Raptor in a pouring rain. Absolutely awesome

I'm so glad to see my #1 (Thighcrush) on a pretty honorable spot on your list. I've been on rides where the restraints were perfectly fine and I can definitely see that one making your top 10 if all rides were like that! I've got a super soft spot for Space Mountain that I know most coaster junkies don't share since it's top speed isn't much higher than some kiddie coasters but I don't think I've ever walked off that ride without a stupid grin on my face, and I've been on it tens of times over the years.
So happy that leviathan is on this list! The same model is Mako at sea world, and that’s one of my favorite coasters ever
Twisted Colossus will always be my favorite ride, mainly because I rode it for the first time in March of 2020, in the rain. If you ever get the chance to ride any roller coaster in the rain (as long as its safe obviously), you should. It wasn't pouring or anything, but it was sprinkling enough that you could definitely feel it during the ride. It made it 1000% better, especially since that trip was the last one for quite a while.

Very glad to see Boulder Dash here, I feel like it doesn't get the love that it deserves because it's both a wooden coaster and not the most intense coaster in the area. I highly recommend riding it at night, it's totally different from and more thrilling than a day run

The Beast at night is quite a thrill. Especially with tunnels dark.....
I love how menacingly LOUD the beast is too. At night, the coaster just scares the hell out of you. Still my all time favorite!
I rode El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure in the front car and the back car and the air time is absolutely amazing. I also like the Nitro rollercoaster at Six Flags. I'm glad that you rated El Toro as number 2 because it is a wonderful experience for anyone who loves rollercoasters with steep hills.
I don't like rollercoasters that twist a lot or ones that shake endlessly. I like to enjoy the air time with endless drops.
I rode El Toro once in a light rain.......it felt like my face and arms were being shot with thousands of tiny needles.
And it was still amazing.

Looks high. He said he worked at Great Adventure, which makes my question why he didn't list Kingda Ka, which as far as I know, is the faster and tallest in the world.
Because Kingda Ka is rattly and has "over the shoulder" restraints. TTD is by far the better ride of those two.
That last one looks not only absolutely insane to ride, but architecturally beautiful. Very Zen

Rode Eejanaika back at Fuji-Q about 12 years ago when I was stationed in Japan. Found the roller coaster to be everything you share and the 4D approach leaves you disoriented but the ride is worth it. The other aspect of the ride I did like was the smoothness and control. You literally don’t feel like you’re going almost 80 mph.
Nice to see the Iron Rattler on here! Fiesta Texas was my home park for most of my life, and my friends and I all had season passes in college. I was too much of a baby to ride it when it was still just the Rattler, but I definitely enjoy the ride!
Personally, I prefer Superman and Goliath at that park because they’re a bit gentler, and I sometimes get motion sickness. I wish I had the stomach for the higher thrill coasters!
I have only been to one park in the USA, which is Magic Mountain and i loved the experience. X2 is such a unique experience and Twisted Colossus is so hekkin smooth, Goliath is darn intense to the point one of the drops got me to grey out. But i think the most memorable coaster is Full Throttle and I love that coaster to bits.

El Toro...is by far the best coaster I’ve been on...insane experience...great video!!!
Really like the list; I still need to go on a lot of these. For Magnum --- It's not that I hate the ride, it's just that when I went to Cedar Point as a teen in 2003, it was hyped so much, and I was really excited to go on it, and it was a huge letdown.
For Tatsu, and underrated part is the pretzel loop being at the end of the ride. It makes it so much better to have the most extreme element waiting for you. On rides like X2, the most extreme is that first (amazing) drop, but the rest of the ride is like going through the motions after that. Eejanaika is definitely on my bucket list

@@sprawlz6466 it's definitely the angle making it look kinda janky. And B&M does overbanks on basically every single one of their hypers so i don't get what you mean by that
@@twistedgwazi5727 not tight ones like that. They have some big 90 degree turn banks like on Mako. This is like a 220 degree turn. I’m pretty sure it’s the only one like this that B&M has done. It reminds me Millennium Force’s over banks.
@@sprawlz6466 220° would be beyond inverting and I don't think Leviathan has any inversions. And they certainly did tight one, the turnaround on Behemoth and Nitro are notable examples of tighter overbanks.
As a knotts local I’m so happy to see ghost rider up high!! It was the first rollercoaster I’d ever ridden before and is still my favorite to this day!!
Montu is my favourite coaster in Florida. There’s a couple of angles in that coaster that really do throw you off, absolute piece of art

It's awesome! I remember never having heard of the park when I went when I was younger and I had a ton of fun! Lots of different choices....and some of the scariest I've seen and a few I had the guts to ride
