I liked the godzilla anime series. Its great to actually have the godzilla series explore the godzilla universe in a different light. To have more of a drama story and about humans returning to earth. Its very interesting.
I like the fact that throughout the timeline you covered, Canada is one of the few places that wasn't attacked.. I mean sure at some point they had to be, but I like to think that Canada was the last to survive :D
Why couldn’t the humans go to the Exif’s homeworld? I know that the other alien race’s home was destroyed by a black hole. So why couldn’t the humans go to the other planet, did King Ghidorah or another kaiju destroyed it?
The Exif homeworld was destroyed by an unidentified space monster which Metphies stated was similar to Godzilla. The Exif had been wandering through space searching for a new homeworld for many years just like the Bilusaludo.
All theories are now being placed that the unidentifide monster is SpaceGodzilla that emerged from the black hole and started following the Exifs from their homeworld to Earth.
That's cool that Zilla is a part of this movie's continuity. So by what I'm understanding Zilla while able to be killed easier than most kaiju was harder to defeat due to its high level of reproduction. So worst than rabbits. At the end of the video when all those kaiju roars were going, the last one's roar was that of Zilla. (I'm a huge Zilla Jr fan.)

Makes me visualize the horror that humanity have to face..... I can imagine the scene where Gezora appears, several ships full of refugees in the stormy night in the middle of the sea. Gezora emerged from below, lightning strikes several times to reveal its horrifying face. Next thing that we know, all of the refugee vessels were destroyed and no one survived......
Fun fact: The Kamoebas carcass that washed ashore at Odo Island is in fact not the same species as the Philippiness Kamoebas, but a large, 60 meters long celonian monster with a missing right forelimb. Remind you of someone?
It stuff like that vague Gamera reference and treatment of Zilla in GMK and the anime and the miniscule height of Gabara that makes me like Kaiju stuff. They have all the most creative and subtle disses.
They did state that the city claimed by zilla was the absolute hardest to take back . There were so many of them, being that they can reproduce so rapidly.
I feel like the movie should've been just about the kaiju attacking humanity over the years. Like it's suppose to be called Monster Planet for a reason!. XP
Much like Sonic Forces not being about the Forces, instead a not very fleshed out story, resulting to too much backstory for promotional reasons. The entertainment industry these days really hates to show things now. They just tell it to you and you have to pretend it's cool.
Rain of Blaze I was hoping to see the actual downfall of humanity, all the last ditch military efforts, maybe show us exactly when the aliens arrived and what our combined efforts were in fending off some of the Kaiju, then at the very end of the movie when there is no other choice have the chosen people escaping into outer space, spend a little bit of time setting up the universe instead of throwing everything at us at the intro.
This is better prolly that’s why some people say that the 3 anime of Godzilla were ok there should had been at least a bit showing the creatures attacking or something cause it starts at a ship and really doesn’t make sense
I gotta say, the aliens in this timeline are actually pretty friendly, like I mean they could easily take over the earth while most of the earth's nation are weakened by all those kaijus roaming and destroying cities. Edit: ok I was wrong, the bastards tricked us
The conversation between Metphies and Mulu-Elu Galu-Gu earlier in the film suggests that both races may have initially had ulterior motives. Metphies says that the Bilusaludo probably would have turned Mechagodzilla against humanity to conquer the Earth if it defeated Godzilla, while Galu-Gu says the Exif wanted to brainwash the earthlings with their religion so they could take over the planet. It didn't matter in the end, because neither race could defeat Godzilla and now they're both in the same boat as humanity.
That might be worth doing a video about. I was a little confused about those two alien races and what their motivations were. Were they antagonistic to each other or were they allies from the beginning?
Wikizilla I did love the whole subtle enemy mine vibe. They both may have wanted to take over the Earth, but now that they're just as screwed as the humans, they might as well work with them as friends and hope for the best!
Honestly, if the first third of the movie was just a montage of these monsters appearing and attacking, it would have given a true sense of how small humans are compared to these beasts. Especially when so many appear at once.
I agree. I mean, you can tell the size difference over the film series these last 60+ years. But being an animation and having people and flying vehicles and explosions happening all over the place, along with the "camera angles" moving so quickly, it was hard to compare sizes between the humans and monsters
I like Zilla being his own Kaiju in this universe and not just represented as "Godzilla" from 1998. His role (more like their role) was very interesting to hear. I love how they made him actually a challenge in this novel and have some importance. The one thing I would disagree on is the fact that one Zilla alone is so weak and could be killed off super easily. I wouldn't mind that if there were a adult Zilla or mother Zilla that was not as weak as his/her babies. If that were to happen it would be cool to see a rematch between Zilla and Godzilla if they make a prequel movie of this story. Although I dont think that Toho would ever add Zilla back into a live/cartoon action move or even a TV show is very unlikely, but at least we know that Toho is paying some attention to him.
I think they meant “weak” as in compared to the other Kaiju. Adult Zilla aren’t that durable compared to other Kaiju, and Humanity would have developed some mighty strong weapons after decades of war with Kaiju, weapons strong enough to probably neutralize a single adult Zilla after a couple barrages. Of course that French city was completely overrun by Giant Mutated Tribbles before anyone even noticed. Zilla was a genuine threat because Zilla potentially could out compete humanity with sheer numbers.
Have you seen the cartoon series after the Godzilla movie? The one egg that survives hatches, and the zilla bonds with the geeky guy in the movie, and grows up to be a kiju hunter. Even killing his own parent after it's resurrected and upgraded by aliens.
imbored k Realistically I think humanities social structure, economy and government would have crumbled in a third of the time noting how frequent the attacks were and how much prperty and environmental damage they caused, not to mention the excessive casualties all over the place. With those numbers they make it seem that as soon as a Kaiju appeared 2 out of every 3 people in the population were definitely fucked. This shit sounds so depressing and nightmarish it puts mass shootings, terrorist attacks like 9/11 and even Genocides like the Holocaust and the Nuking in Japan to utter shame, and those themselves are extreme.
Pale rider, Pale horse Gotta admit the casualties are VERY exaggerated . I know that there's famine and diseases following the attacks, but still millions of casualties is a bit too much
Other Kaiju: destroying famous cities and bringing down entire nations Gabara: stepped on a land mine or something and got ripped apart by natural wildlife lol
Tanner Bruning In the beginning of the film, it's said that godzilla attacked pretty much anything. Human or monster. It didn't care. It's possible that godzilla could've found the rest of the monsters and completely killed them off. That, or many of them are hiding from godzilla.
Tanner Bruning Don't lose hope man, there are still two movies left and Mecha-Godzilla is confirmed for the second film,I personally want to see Godzilla destroy a flock of Rodan while fighting Anguirus and Mecha-Godzilla at the same time, on a side King Ghidorah,Gigan and Space Godzilla still haven't appeared and with those two alien species running around,I think that we are going to see them soon.
And since techinically it's also one of few kaijus that can befriend humans, imagine if some remaining madmen on earth have been left not because of mothra, but because for generations they been living with zillas and fighting off godzillas "offspring" Go full on mad max, armored zillas and humans with scavanger and recycled armor just sitting somewhere in europe doing their own thing of fighting monsters every other day.
Oscar Nou Yaj Mothra is hinted in the movie as "a monster in South America that's friendly to people and fights with silk and scales" so there you have it.
I NEED to see all of these monsters agaim and in the anime! Even if they're not all that strong or important. Seeing a new Gabara redone with today's technology and the griffins and all those things would be sonkuch fun to see. Way better than the overly dramatic anime humans.
BNingen Z I would want them to make a short of all the attacks that happened and especially gotengo Vs manda and mogura (don't really know how to spell his name)vs biolantte maybe after they finish the series
It would be really cool if this version of godzilla is a physical form of mother nature because it is a plant/animal organism to wipe out humans and restore the earth.
Agreed. _Planet of the Monsters_ left me rather underwhelmed, but it was interesting enough that I'm down for the sequels, but this history sounds way better. I really hope we get a movie or short run series showing it. Or at least an English translation of the book.
Nice job explaining the story line of this universe. This timeline has just inspired me to make an animated version of this. Honestly, I'm surprised about the fact that Gigan nor Titanosaurus never made it in this universe.
SpinoDragon Productions an animation would be nice, yet I know for sure it'll take a few years or less cause animation is actually really hard, but they can still work
Yeah, I also like that they mentioned Zilla again. I always liked Zilla, even if the movie is kinda dumb fun but nothing like Godzilla. The cartoon was great, though.
Now I am sad to know that not only did some monsters die but Orga and Gabera died! I love those two. But that is a cool nod to the cancelled GMK. With Godzilla, Varan,Baragon,Angerius.
I can't help but wonder, are all the kaiju in this timeline just infinitely more powerful than their movie versions, given the increased range of destruction they cause, or is it just because of the fact the planet becomes one big ongoing kaiju free-for-all as opposed to keeping multiple different kaiju in their own timelines? It feels like even the all-inclusive IDW comics didn't even get this severe.
I just don’t think it was ever realized just how much Godzilla did to prevent further destruction by defeating those monsters. Also a lot of the main characters knew information that they would have no way of knowing so quickly for no reason, meaning that they could deal with it quicker
Well I actually kinda dislike How Unrealistic How Humanity would react to The Kaiju's in The Anime Godzilla, Australia should have used it's airports as a last resort to Evacuate, while the Other Countries that are being destroyed by Other Kaijus should have evacuate there cities before Chaos was to begin.
good grief! guess we now have a new level on how much punishment Godzilla can take, also Gabara literally got the worst death of them all, but does not make me feel sorry for that "thing"
At least he got better representation than Gabara! LMAO 10 measly meters in hight! But I did like how they incorporated his sadistic nature, and Zilla's abilities.
Zilla mainly gets shit for being called Godzilla. Toho actually used it's strengths in this, reporting how a single Zilla went down to conventional weapons, but due to how fertile they are, with Asexually reproduced nests numbering in the hundreds, and even a single one of them surviving resulting in a swarm of human sized human eating young, they EXPLODED out of control with many reaching at least adolescent age and reproducing as well. This video doesn't say it outright but the "elimination" of the Zilla threat was only a cover story with several cities being cut as "losses" and the Zilla's roaming free. Gorosaurus ended up being used as a sort of media diversion. All the monsters were wiped out when Godzilla raided Europe, however.
I think a fitting theory for the kaiju that were from earth is that they could have all lived underground, like that hollow earth idea seen in Godzilla 2014 and Skull island 2017. That could mean they were all running from GODZILLA. Something must have woken him up tho.
Pacific Rim is all sunshine and rainbows compared to this. At least in that story, humanity had a chance, slim though it was. In this universe, it's like all hope is lost.
>> *Watch Part 2 of the anime GODZILLA timeline here:* th-cam.com/video/uS8Bcoz4oko/w-d-xo.html ---------------------------------------------------- Hope you enjoy this timeline video! It took a lot of effort to put together! *TIDBITS:* > *Mothra...?* There's a territorial monster in South America that's "friendly" to humans, explaining why it wasn't attacked by many kaiju. > *Gamera?!* - The fourth Kamoebas (Kamoebas IV) which washes ashore dead on Odo Island is actually stated to be a different species from the other Kamoebas individuals in the novel. It is described as being a 60 meter-long monster which, among other injuries, had its right arm missing. (p. 114) This description, along with it being described as a "turtle-like" species, aligns with both the Showa Gamera's 60 meter height and the Heisei Gamera having his right hand destroyed in _Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris._ Coincidentally, the novel is published by Kadokawa, who are Gamera's owners.
Wikizilla I'll be waiting for Anime Godzilla profile soon. Can you do a profile of Showa, Milliennium, GMK, and Final Wars Godzilla, Gorosaurus, Showa Anguirus, Showa Rodan, and King Caesar if you don't mind?
Jesus Ramirez Romo SPOILER!! He actually didn't die by accident. The thermite was laced on an arrow used by a native Amazonian tribe girl to hunt him. It went straight to his eye and maybe the fall was caused by him panicking uncontrollably.
Pretty AWESOME. The timeline reminded so much of pacific rim, godzilla final wars, and destroy all monsters. Speaking of pacific rim will u do a kaiju/Mech profile on pacific rim?
The Dagahra timeline is scary. Australia is basically uninhabitable with bacteria and Dagahra Attacking the city. Not sure if that's scary than other monsters attacking other nation/countries.
there's theory all kaijus actually motherearth's will to reduce humanity and save the earth from polution, but full power of kaijus attack seems like destroying earth more than humans, like how a kaiju completely destroy Australia though Australia suppose to be one of nature richest place on earth. lol
Yeah he was basically just a bully that he used to pick on Minilla (Godzilla's son) and when Godzilla got involved he basically got rofl stomped and actually at one point runs away almost immediately after Big G turns up. He was so weak the only other Kaiju he could fight was an infant Kaiju hence the being killed thermite and then eaten by crocodiles and piranhas.
Wow this is awesome! They made an anime like this? That sounds like it could be several seasons! I better go watch the anime *one viewing late* The guys writing the backstory had more to say than the damn feature film.
A noticable absence of Ghidorah, Godzilla's only equal. Could the twenty thousand year gap have afforded him the same chance of evolution as it did the King of Monsters?
I doubt King Ghidorah will appear with the third film being released before KOTM 2019. SpaceGodzilla has been confirmed to exist in this timeline too- and plus the Exifs seem to know quite a bit about Godzilla. Also along with the fact they said creatures similar in power to Godzilla have destroyed many civilizations.
I'm liking the theory that the kaiju Metphies mentions destroyed his homeworld was King Ghidorah, doubt that that is what they'll go with (as you said, Toho's probably waiting to see what Legendary is going to do with him and Mothra, also explaining her absence save for an Easter egg), but it's a nice little fan theory.
pog mo thoin712 The problem with that is that both of those Kaijus were created after very different circumstances than have happened in this continuity. SpaceGodzilla was only born because Godzilla's cells were unwittingly carried into space by Mothra (or ejected by Biollante, so that does actually have a slim chance), and Destroyah was a direct result of humans killing the original Godzilla with the oxygen destroyer, which really didn't happen.
Here's what Im curious about. Mecha-Godzilla was designed to combat the original Godzilla when he first appeared. Now that its been 20,000 years and Godzilla has grown immensely, wouldn't Mecha-Godzilla be dwarfed by this evolved Godzilla? I imagine he'd barely reach Godzilla's shins, let alone be a threat to him. Also Im unclear on a few things. Two ships were launched from Earth, right? Theres the one major ship the main characters were on, so was the other ship the one that exploded in atmosphere in the beginning of the movie or is there still another ship out there in space? If so, why mention the other ship if it doesnt affect the plot? And if it does somehow resurface in the plot, I wonder how they'd incorporate it into the story. Considering time dilation, it'd have to be one hell of coincidence that both ships would meet on Earth around the same time. My guess would be that the second ship might discover another monster in space like Space Godzilla or King Ghidorah that could team up with Mecha-Godzilla to fight Godzilla. Also, you mentioned two alien species in the video but I only ever saw one in the movie. So what is the alien situation and how are the two races different?
The Mechagodzilla size issue is addressed in some promo material for the second film. I won't spoil it here though. The ship that blows up in the beginning of the first film is a colonization ship that left the Taus. The other interstellar immigration craft will probably get a name drop in the inevitable alien betrayal development because, as you said, there's no way it'd get back to earth in the same time frame. That being said, both alien races made it to earth within a couple years of each other so who knows. It would be cool if they encountered another mosnter out there; maybe the aliens aboard that ship somehow lead it to earth to help kill Godzilla (or help him finish the job on Earth). I also didn't realize this, but the darker skinned characters with the weird eyebrows are the Bilusaludo. Both alien races seem to have a hidden agenda but for now they seem to be helping Haruo.
The ship that explodes in the atmosphere of Tau-e was just a small Landing Ship deployed from the _Aratrum._ The other emigration ship, the _Oratio,_ was carrying twice as many passengers and had a much longer journey to reach its destination planet, Kepler-452. Because of this, the _Oratio_ was equipped with hypersleep pods and its passengers were kept in suspended animation during the voyage. The _Aratrum_ only needed to travel a little over 10 light years so it was not equipped with hypersleep pods. According to supplementary materials, the _Aratrum_ lost contact with the _Oratio_ sometime prior to the events of the film for unknown reasons. The two alien races are the Exif and the Bilusaludo. The Exif are the pale-skinned aliens with purple and white robes, while the Bilusaludo are darker-skinned and have spiky hair. The Exif are a religious race that primarily act as clergy aboard the _Aratrum,_ while the Bilusaludo are a technologically advanced race that built most of the futuristic weapons, including Mechagodzilla. The Exif are based on the Xiliens, and the Bilusaludo are based on the Black Hole Planet 3 Aliens. There are two main Exif seen in the film: Metphies and his superior Endurph; and three Bilusaludo: Mulu-Elu Galu-Gu, Rilu-Elu Belu-Be, and their superior Halu-Elu Dolu-Do.
Wow, that makes the history for the movie more devastating. It was real cool that they added all the lesser know kaiju from the Toho films. But I feel like this should have been a more prominent part of the film. In the actual movie, we only see kaiju spawned from Godzilla, and that's it. I know it's only the first part, but I hope to see the other kaiju in the remaining films.
This was very helpful, thank you! I laughed at the Zilla characterization...weak but fertile! To be honest, I didn’t like the anime much. Too much blahblah, not enough kaiju. They really should have done this backstory in the anime. (Not hugely fond of the new Godzilla design either. Too monochromatic.)
D C I actually think the design works well with Godzilla's new plant-based origin. As for the lack of Kaiju in the Anime, it honestly doesn't feel right to judge it as it is now. Monster Planet is only the Introduction, so it's probably better that they set up Godzilla as the top dog and how he's changed before moving on to his contenders.
It's a completed movie, so it seems perfectly reasonable to judge the completed movie as it is. And as it is is...boring. Hopefully it will get better, though. Not like I'm not gonna watch!
Amazing video. I had no idea they tried to fill in the backstory this much. Though...it might have been nice to see a little bit of it on the screen though in the film lol.
I'm curious why the kaijus attack very constant after the 1st at 2002, seems like something made it happen. if kaiju is metaphor for disaster, even storm and tsunami not coming constantly.
My theory is based on what metphies said, kaiju constantly appeared because humanity have messed the mother earth too much. They were mother earth white blood cell to destroy them giving chance for earth to heal. A reset button.
I written a 3 season series of this First season (Godzilla is absent but will be references of he's place in this world) will focus on the first 5 kaiju attacks, Megalon's refugee crisis and military/civilian drama of struggling and fighting against monster attacks and their destruction aftermath. Second season focuses on mostly Godzilla's arrival and mankind trying to kill him and study him, as the season ends with the Exif and Bilusaludio arriving to Earth and a showdown between Battra and Godzilla in the Arctic ocean. The 3rd season will focus on The Exif and Bilusaludio's working with humanity to defeat Godzilla in Operation Long March, Operation Great Wall, the construction of MechaGodzilla and finally the battle between Mothra and Godzilla after humanity fled the Earth. For the series in general will centre around humanities affect on the environment, allowing monsters (that are allegories for natural disasters) to be born due to our effects on the Earth. Also human arcs will be made up of military, journalism, science and the concept of God, religion and the dependance on technology that aspire to the human conditions and how they are affected by giant monsters, in which have altered a new way of living. There will be death, there will be destruction, horror, survival and questioning the soul of humanity in the endless battle ahead of them.
Zackary Lloyd They are like dog and wolf... different species but similar, maybe they can reproduce but considering the nature of the new Godzilla I don't think it will happen.
All of this sounds way better than the movie. Monster Planet was cool, but man, like, 50 minutes of it was nothing but constant exposition dumps. I think there's more on the way, but they really didn't set this up that well imo.
Also the animation, while looking good in battlescenes was weird and clunky in the slower conversation scenes. If half you movie is info dumb, atleast make it look good. And don't get me started in the main character. Felt like he was written to feature in an edgy Sonic fan fic.
Yeah, the animation was pretty inconsistent and I agree with the main character being kind of edgy. The characters in general seriously needed some more work in terms of characterization. They're all either super angry or super bored and monotone. I get the religious alien dude being monotone and deadpan, cause he's an alien, but everyone talks and acts the same way. It's so bad.
Am i the only here that thinks that it would've been cooler if kaijus attacked instead of some random virus Btw the kaijus are n e r f e d hard But cool events cool love the refrences
Dagahra attacking on Christmas day is morbidly hallarious to me. Imagine being an australian enjoying your christms turkey with family only to get interrupted by the kaiju who stole christmas
Almost all of the kaiju in the novel except Godzilla got killed off. Zilla was described as one of the hardest kaiju to defeat due to its fertility, and had a longer appearance than many of the other monsters. Toho treats Zilla like just another one of the kaiju they own, and have licensed him to appear in comics and video games.
I like how Godzillia only showed up very late in the story and did not much, disappeared for the story then came back to actually start torturing humanity for his entertainment💀
@@michaelc.8712 I mean you can make a good story out of this with several characters from all over the world with different roles it just needs to be in the right hands like yiu said
Is it just me or the 50 meter tall Godzilla Earth in the prequel is even more awesome and op than his future 300 meter tall form in any of the anime movies?
Lmao in a sense you aren't wrong 🤣, partly because humanity and kaiju were still on earth doing this or that as godzilla was killing everyone in his path meanwhile 20,000 years later nothing is happening untik humanity comes back to earth. Realistically the only feat younger godzilla earth does that's superior to his older self is destroying gorath but that took young earth sleeping for a few years to build up energy to pull off said feat. Older godzilla earth could probably do the same thing if he sensed a killer object heading towards earth
So all the earth monsters are dead and other kaiju are dead to not appear in Godzilla monsters planet i guess we won't see them in next sequel just Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla
Fantastic analysis, just a huge shame that this was only mentioned in the first five minutes of the movie. Hopefully they’ll delve more into it in the sequels.

People: 2020 won’t get any worse.
2020: Giant Octopus
I knew someone made a 2020 joke.
Mmmm calamari.
No tentacle hentai.
@@patmurph7769 hmm
@John Sebastian Carlos I would go up to godzilla and give him a hug!
All of this sounds more interesting than the movie. Although I didn't expect I'd learn it all started with Kamacuras causing 9/11.
I know, right?
This is better prolly that’s why some people say that the 3 anime of Godzilla were ok there should had been at least a bit showing the creatures attacking or something cause it starts at a ship and really doesn’t make sense
@Ian_Choi 20261121 on may 4th 1999.
Let that sink for a bit.
Well instead of 9/11 it would be 5/4 which doesn't sound as catchy.
Werezilla it’s really so disturbing how society slowly starts to fall to monsters
I gotta say, the aliens in this timeline are actually pretty friendly, like I mean they could easily take over the earth while most of the earth's nation are weakened by all those kaijus roaming and destroying cities.
Edit: ok I was wrong, the bastards tricked us
Shiny Face Its a twist from villainous aliens from ALL the stories
Well, they sort of took over
The religious aliens comverted everyone to their religion
Wikizilla
I did love the whole subtle enemy mine vibe.
Zaragoz Rex
All we got was space noodles damn it
truth
that's not how movies are made, themes, narratives, subplots, characters, motives and events have to be set in place in the first third of the movie.
This series should be renamed
"Godzilla: World War Kaiju"
World War G
Pacific Rim's "Kaiju war" much?
Maybe they wanted a titled there sounded less like a bad fanfiction
I agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
World war kaiju
I love how Gabara fell into the Amazon river and gets eaten by crocodiles and piranhas. Great video, Wikizilla.
GodzillaZero-One The only problem is that we dont have crocodiles in Brazil, only cayman
Heh, the animals were like: " Revenge motherf*cker!"
Even in this universe, Gabara is still pathetic
Seriously, what other kaiju gets taken out by wildlife?!
A fitting demise to such a jerk.
Comeuppance.
This timeline is cool but terrifying
imbored k Realistically I think humanities social structure, economy and government would have crumbled in a third of the time noting how frequent the attacks were and how much prperty and environmental damage they caused, not to mention the excessive casualties all over the place.
I know that there's famine and diseases following the attacks, but still millions of casualties is a bit too much
I love how pathetic gabara is in all of this
sax_banana I liked how they ramped up his sadistic nature tho
Its nice to see another kaiju get trashed on by toho other than zilla, even if I personally think gabara's a pretty cool kaiju.
Other Kaiju: destroying famous cities and bringing down entire nations
Gabara: stepped on a land mine or something and got ripped apart by natural wildlife lol
@Pale rider, Pale horse How? What sadistic nature did he have in this? He just had some breakfast, got knocked over, and became dinner.
Agreed he deserves it anyway
They set up a universe with every Toho kaiju. AND NONE OF THEM WHERE IN THE MOVIE!
Tanner Bruning well that's because of movie's budget wouldn't allow for ALL monsters to appear in one MOVIE
MUTOfiles & MonarchSecrets1207 and yet we couldn’t that at least ONE monster besides Godzilla and the discount gyaos
Tanner Bruning In the beginning of the film, it's said that godzilla attacked pretty much anything. Human or monster. It didn't care. It's possible that godzilla could've found the rest of the monsters and completely killed them off. That, or many of them are hiding from godzilla.
Starset4life 2017 I personally was hoping to see a movie with an ecosystem consisting of all the different kaiju
What makes this series more fucked up.....ghidorah and gigan weren't even needed.....and spacegodzilla plus destroyah weren't needed.....yet.....damn
Dylan Wong if they were involved then damn... For all we know the humans might not have escaped or there would have been a kaiju war
Dylan Wong Those monsters are quite too OP tbh
Metphis references King Ghidorah in the movie
Zilla is Canon? Neat.
SpartanGamer687 more Jet Jaguar? Also neat
@Tyell Grant the Jaguar J Combat suits are basically a reincarnation of Jet Jaguar
@Tyell Grant kinda
And Zilla also did significant damage without being treated like a clown? Neat.
And died easily and was mistaken as goji. I see what you did there toho you smart smart bastards
I love the idea of Zillas procreating and spreading. It was the threat in G98 and a fanfic I (and surly others) had tossed around in my head.
And since techinically it's also one of few kaijus that can befriend humans, imagine if some remaining madmen on earth have been left not because of mothra, but because for generations they been living with zillas and fighting off godzillas "offspring"
Go full on mad max, armored zillas and humans with scavanger and recycled armor just sitting somewhere in europe doing their own thing of fighting monsters every other day.
Indonesia is kaiju-free. That's the advantage of always being ignored all the time haha
Actually Indonesia can get effected by Barem infestation
I know right
Muhammad Rafi In real life setting, our country will be stuffed with refugees from Europe or Africa
It’s being protected I’m guessing hint Infant Island so maybe both Battra and Mothra are in this universe too.
Oscar Nou Yaj Mothra is hinted in the movie as "a monster in South America that's friendly to people and fights with silk and scales" so there you have it.
That timeline was so awesome, plus they even used the not-so popular kaijus like Kamoebas, Gabara, the Griffons and Gezora.
Shiny Face They even brought in Gamimes, who almost never gets the light of day
Hedogoji 71 yep, I actually wonder what other monsters will they bring back.
They also used Dogora!
WhY GAbArA? ! ? !
No gargantuas tho
Yes
That's what godzilla earth is
Your profile pic and name is life
Too soon kamacarus, too soon......
Kamacuras did 9/11
Jakob Rodriguez he did 9/11 before 9/11
Too soon? How long has it been since then?
lekhaclam87 he means that Kamacuras did 9/11/2001 two years before the actual year
I'm surprised Titanosaurus wasn't mentioned or brought up in anything. But I am happy Gorosaurus finally gets to appear somewhat in the timeline.
Maybe titanosaurus maybe hidden after 20,000 yrs
Watch the second video two of them show up
I hope they make Godzilla: Monster Apocalypse it's own movie. That would be awesome.
Dino Dude i agree
Dino Dude Or an OVA
Agreed. _Planet of the Monsters_ left me rather underwhelmed, but it was interesting enough that I'm down for the sequels, but this history sounds way better. I really hope we get a movie or short run series showing it. Or at least an English translation of the book.
Or at least translate it to English
Dino Dude done
Nice job explaining the story line of this universe. This timeline has just inspired me to make an animated version of this. Honestly, I'm surprised about the fact that Gigan nor Titanosaurus never made it in this universe.
SpinoDragon Productions They made it
SpinoDragon Productions an animation would be nice, yet I know for sure it'll take a few years or less cause animation is actually really hard, but they can still work
Great to see Zilla make another come back. Shame they didn't keep some around to feature in the anime.
rodster6 at least he wasn’t pathetic
Yeah, I also like that they mentioned Zilla again. I always liked Zilla, even if the movie is kinda dumb fun but nothing like Godzilla. The cartoon was great, though.
I think it's a great design for a monster. I'd like to see him brought back and used more as an enemy or even ally of Godzilla.
Well they only other kaiju to actually appear besides Godzilla were those Gyaos-wannabees...
It won't come back
Now I am sad to know that not only did some monsters die but Orga and Gabera died! I love those two. But that is a cool nod to the cancelled GMK. With Godzilla, Varan,Baragon,Angerius.
Also I am making a comic out of the timeline that I will upload to my channel.
Oh my Godzilla. I am a highlighted comment. Thank you WikiZilla.
John Reeves there is hope then for my favorite alien Kaiju also thank you for telling me that
I can't help but wonder, are all the kaiju in this timeline just infinitely more powerful than their movie versions, given the increased range of destruction they cause, or is it just because of the fact the planet becomes one big ongoing kaiju free-for-all as opposed to keeping multiple different kaiju in their own timelines? It feels like even the all-inclusive IDW comics didn't even get this severe.
I just don’t think it was ever realized just how much Godzilla did to prevent further destruction by defeating those monsters. Also a lot of the main characters knew information that they would have no way of knowing so quickly for no reason, meaning that they could deal with it quicker
Thanks for clearing this wikizilla better than Wikipedia 😂
Alpha Omega Anime I agree also funny thing maguma is the true American hero destroying all of North Korea
Virgin Wikipedia VS Chad WIKIZILLA
Gabara got the fate that he needed to have.
That weird person who no one likes ikr
I like gabera
Well I actually kinda dislike How Unrealistic How Humanity would react to The Kaiju's in The Anime Godzilla, Australia should have used it's airports as a last resort to Evacuate, while the Other Countries that are being destroyed by Other Kaijus should have evacuate there cities before Chaos was to begin.
good grief! guess we now have a new level on how much punishment Godzilla can take, also Gabara literally got the worst death of them all, but does not make me feel sorry for that "thing"
Nidnoms 5:19 Maguma's death was viceral
@@localdude2979 But his was quick, Gabera was eaten alive
Poor poor poor Zilla. Just can't catch a break. At least you had a awesome cartoon show owns.
Sai NX yep
All the monsters were wiped out when Godzilla raided Europe, however.
but zilla appeared after godzilla's raid on europe
Godzilla ended up there more than once.
The Big Unanswered Questions:
What caused the Kaiju to go dormant for so long in the first place?
And what caused them to awaken again all at once?
Y2K
I think a fitting theory for the kaiju that were from earth is that they could have all lived underground, like that hollow earth idea seen in Godzilla 2014 and Skull island 2017. That could mean they were all running from GODZILLA. Something must have woken him up tho.
Maybe a quake shook the ground awakening all of them
Some of the kaijus like the 4th Angurius were on the run from Godzilla.
Maybe global warming? I dont know
then it turns out that zilla retook the city with its infinite off spring
So... no one's talking about how Godzilla tanked 150 nukes? Like really? No one?
Nobody is questioning it because Godzilla is Godzilla, who is normally OP af
Man, this anime-verse is all kinds of fucked up.
Like really? All those people died and countless Kaiju appear? Damn.
Could not have been said any better, my friend.
BloodRose Reaper I agree and that’s why I like it because of how differs it is then any other Godzilla movie even shin Godzilla
Pacific Rim anyone?
Pacific Rim is all sunshine and rainbows compared to this. At least in that story, humanity had a chance, slim though it was. In this universe, it's like all hope is lost.

Hope you enjoy this timeline video! It took a lot of effort to put together!
*TIDBITS:*
> *Mothra...?* There's a territorial monster in South America that's "friendly" to humans, explaining why it wasn't attacked by many kaiju.
Amazing
Who’s after MP Godzilla? Gorosaurus maybe?
Gigan and destroyah
blessingpick9 gigan both have been made already
Wikizilla I'll be waiting for Anime Godzilla profile soon. Can you do a profile of Showa, Milliennium, GMK, and Final Wars Godzilla, Gorosaurus, Showa Anguirus, Showa Rodan, and King Caesar if you don't mind?
This universe fucking massacred my country of Australia
Where's Mothra in all this?
There's an unnamed, territorial monster in South America that's said to be "friendly" to humans.
Wikizilla could be Minilla lol. "My father said I have to fight my own battle you know?"
Lol DanDB
The South American monster is said to defend itself using silk and scales, so it's undoubtedly a reference to Mothra.
Wikizilla welp there's Mothra!
Maaan, Gabra had a sad death...
Jesus Ramirez Romo yeah that's sad man
Jesus Ramirez Romo SPOILER!!
He actually didn't die by accident. The thermite was laced on an arrow used by a native Amazonian tribe girl to hunt him. It went straight to his eye and maybe the fall was caused by him panicking uncontrollably.

When Megalon appears:I BLESS THE WAVES DOWN IN AFRICAAAAA.
WHAT 6.7 million people dead NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO
It's "I bless the RAINS* down in Africa." you uncultured swine.
The Dagahra timeline is scary. Australia is basically uninhabitable with bacteria and Dagahra Attacking the city. Not sure if that's scary than other monsters attacking other nation/countries.
there's theory all kaijus actually motherearth's will to reduce humanity and save the earth from polution, but full power of kaijus attack seems like destroying earth more than humans, like how a kaiju completely destroy Australia though Australia suppose to be one of nature richest place on earth. lol
Ricky H My theory is that one of the aliens is actually responsible. And Earth regurarly hurts herself to save herself. Remember the mass extinctions
Ricky H well she is still is losing cause humans still exist :)
I think that's Godzilla your thinking of because of his plant like origins
Ricky H no just stop it.
@@ColdNorth0628 But no longer the dominant species.
Why does Gabara's story sound like a Tom and Jerry cartoon?
Yeah he was basically just a bully that he used to pick on Minilla (Godzilla's son) and when Godzilla got involved he basically got rofl stomped and actually at one point runs away almost immediately after Big G turns up.
He was so weak the only other Kaiju he could fight was an infant Kaiju hence the being killed thermite and then eaten by crocodiles and piranhas.
That when gabara realized he was messed up
jack hickman
“HAHAHA, STUPID CROCODILES, STUPID FIS- OH GOD MY LE-“
Wow this is awesome! They made an anime like this? That sounds like it could be several seasons! I better go watch the anime
*one viewing late*
The guys writing the backstory had more to say than the damn feature film.
I mean it’s part of a book where it’s allowed to do more then a movie.
MechaGoji Bro 7503 Fair, but Ghidorah IS a space-faring Kaiju so I'm not counting him out just yet.
Not his only equal, you still have Destroyah and SpaceGodzilla.
pog mo thoin712 The problem with that is that both of those Kaijus were created after very different circumstances than have happened in this continuity. SpaceGodzilla was only born because Godzilla's cells were unwittingly carried into space by Mothra (or ejected by Biollante, so that does actually have a slim chance), and Destroyah was a direct result of humans killing the original Godzilla with the oxygen destroyer, which really didn't happen.
godzilla anime
10% human
10% bug people
10% bilasaludo
10% exif

There are two alien species the priest guy, Metphies, and huge dark skinned guy, Galu Gu, are the two main ones of the aliens
I have a good feeling that more Kaiju are gonna be on Earth. 20000 Years is no joke.
After reading the synopsis (monster apocalypse) was prior to the anime, I understand the struggles of Haruo and other survivors in the anime.
You know that Godzilla had almost always been grey.
Henry Stanley Sure. But this design is very muddy, when it doesn’t have to be.
Okay.
I think they should have made a movie about the events that happend before they left the planet.
If they had done a movie series during these events it would have easily haven been the best Godzilla movies ever made.
I'm curious why the kaijus attack very constant after the 1st at 2002, seems like something made it happen. if kaiju is metaphor for disaster, even storm and tsunami not coming constantly.
Ricky H maybe the aliens are the reasons why the monsters are appearing (buaaaaaaaaaaam)
Ricky H The attacks are set apart like years or wven decades Each attacks has its own effect in humanity's eventual defeat
My theory is based on what metphies said, kaiju constantly appeared because humanity have messed the mother earth too much. They were mother earth white blood cell to destroy them giving chance for earth to heal. A reset button.
@@zharul8716 yeah. It seems human action trigered them.
They had jet jaguar. AND HE WASN’T EVEN SHOWN ON SCREEN!
It wasn't really Jet Jaguar, it was a modified Powered Suit called *Type-38 Mobile Combat Uniform Jaguar Japan Specification* or *Jaguar J* for short.
Wikizilla Would’ve been cool if they had a actual Jet Jaguar, cause yah know, PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH!!!
I like how no kaiju attacks canada, Singapore and Malaysia not attacked
I written a 3 season series of this
First season (Godzilla is absent but will be references of he's place in this world) will focus on the first 5 kaiju attacks, Megalon's refugee crisis and military/civilian drama of struggling and fighting against monster attacks and their destruction aftermath.
Amazing job! This video was very very well done!! Definitely my favorite from you guys!
Gojira Godzilla Mine too!!!
This would've made the movie better for me to see. The movie was ok I just expected a little more that's all
Somebody needs to make this into a custom game in plague Inc
Godzilla:Rise of the Kaiju Planet
Wow zilla exists in this universe.
but sadly died before the movie
Bakl346 バクル Dawn that is cool tho i wonder if its possible if godzilla and female zilla to mate that would be cool
Zackary Lloyd
They can't, Zilla is from a diferent species.
It will always be my favorite kaiju.
Zackary Lloyd
They are like dog and wolf... different species but similar, maybe they can reproduce but considering the nature of the new Godzilla I don't think it will happen.
Gabera died an ironic death
Holy shit gabera is in this timeline?
yes did that they gabera is dead by military them shoot
TOHO must really hate Kangaroos.
I would love if ToHo went back and showed all the monsters attacking the cities would have been awesome
Just realized the Kamacuras attack on New York was a cloverfield reference
Wait, it was?!
Really sad this never got a full translation.
0:20-0:29 So in the Anime Godzilla trilogy Kamacuras caused 9/11 type event.
every other monster: dies to nukes or in battle
gabara: *dies to small water lizards*
This sounds way better than a depressed you g adult senselessly screaming at a giant tree monster.
Am i the only here that thinks that it would've been cooler if kaijus attacked instead of some random virus
Btw the kaijus are n e r f e d hard
But cool events cool love the refrences
Dagahra attacking on Christmas day is morbidly hallarious to me. Imagine being an australian enjoying your christms turkey with family only to get interrupted by the kaiju who stole christmas
And it is voiced by Jim Carrey
I like all their completely random choices instead of just going "Godzilla was first and always the best"
Are w exist gonna ignore that Godzilla went all the way from Seattle to Colorado Springs to Indianapolis do you know how far that is 😂
2002 in the Philippines kamoebas attacked us because i lived in there
Why do they always kill off Zilla?
cuz he sucks
Because toho hates him with a burning passion
MλFDOMiNUS At least this time they consider him as more of a threat
Bookie Anderson The cartoon Zilla is great
Almost all of the kaiju in the novel except Godzilla got killed off. Zilla was described as one of the hardest kaiju to defeat due to its fertility, and had a longer appearance than many of the other monsters. Toho treats Zilla like just another one of the kaiju they own, and have licensed him to appear in comics and video games.
"Godzilla completely destroyed L.A. and San Francisco" thank you Godzilla, thank you
lolololol making fun of Gabara because that's so recent lolllolololol I'm so funny making fun of a children's movie from 1969.
I like how Godzillia only showed up very late in the story and did not much, disappeared for the story then came back to actually start torturing humanity for his entertainment💀
People who lived in Antarctica:
*Happy sounds intensifies*
Godzilla: *im boutta end their whole careers*
Godzilla 4:The prequel
Now that I will watch
Why was this not the show? I find this a lot more better of a story then the anime.
@@michaelc.8712 I mean you can make a good story out of this with several characters from all over the world with different roles it just needs to be in the right hands like yiu said
So are we not going question how some space monster like orga became earth monster? Plus how is space godzilla going to fit in this?
Older godzilla earth could probably do the same thing if he sensed a killer object heading towards earth
lol Gabara sucks. I'm glad he had such a humiliating defeat.
Fish Out of Fire if he was that little of a threat then why the hell did the government include him in the lore
0:26 is just asking for a 9/11 joke
So all the earth monsters are dead and other kaiju are dead to not appear in Godzilla monsters planet i guess we won't see them in next sequel just Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla
Devil Jin maybe destroyah or king ghidorah wil come in third movie
And it said Space Godzilla would appear.
"I've seen many Civilizations fall due to creatures similar to what you call... Godzilla"
Fantastic analysis, just a huge shame that this was only mentioned in the first five minutes of the movie. Hopefully they’ll delve more into it in the sequels.
I would hope so. I really want to see more of the anime universes designs. I think they did a splendid job with Godzilla and the Servum.
That reminds me: why the hell we only see Godzilla as the only monster on Earth? Shouldn't there be many more?
