@@amysteriousviewer3772 what are you talking about? Yeah there is. It’s an rpg, the farther you get in the game, the stronger you get. You learn new spells and unlock talents. THAT is progression.
@@zaccampa4055 you learn all the spells by mid game, most of the spells aren’t drastically different from each other since they’re more for puzzles than fighting, you have two stats in the game, and sure you have talents but the effects they add aren’t exactly game changing. Only a few really add new options to combat. The first guy is right the gameplay 2hrs into the game is the same as gameplay 40hrs in, from a combat point of view.
For me deadspace remake. Hogwarts legacy was cool at first for me as I'm a big Harry Potter fan but i soon realized after the OOO I'M AT HOGWARTS wore off that there's not alot to the game for me. Plenty of content yes but none of it scratches any of my itches. The castle is full of the same moth pictures and math door puzzles with little else to see besides pages for your book to collect. The world has alot of quests but they all feel mediocre to me. A girl wanted me to dive in the black lake and find her family heirloom and i was hyped till i realized it was just swimming to bubbles on the water's surface and pressing a button for a second till i got the mission item to bring back to her. No actual diving, nothing special about it. Combat is very close to the movies but for me it's more fun to watch than play. Combat is just you rolling, enemies standing in the open like idiots, and you matching a purple shield to a summon spell/purple spell & yellow shield to a control/yellow spell ( there's red too lol ), there are a few cool combos but it just feels so repetitive. Fighting a human wizard feels almost the same as fighting a few huge trolls as they require the same strategy to defeat mostly. I didn't find myself seeing anything on my broomstick worth doing bc i knew what it would boil down to and that I'd be left thinking ," Was that it?" Love the HP universe but I find lego Harry Potter more enjoyable. This may be the best game in this IP but it's not my favorite by a long shot. I respect the scope, the devs, and their ability to release such a polished product even in early access like this.
Not exactly on par with the same combat mechanics as other games. But as long as you are having fun with, it's what matters XD Though I do love the brutality and cheer... murder vibe of these magical rap battles X3

Exactly the same as early game. There is no meaningful character progression in this game.
