Anyone who tells someone they’ve bought her a maybach when they have a Mercedes Benz is the only one in fault if that scenario you mentioned were to happened. The car is named “Mercedes-Maybach” and has Mercedes Benz and maybach logos all over the car so there’s no implication from Mercedes that it’s a maybach. Maybach is just a trim
I’ll buy this over the Bentley or rolls
I have conducted three of them on numerous occasions. Both are quieter than the Mercedes-Maybach and both Brits have a better interior than the GLS (more traditional). GLS interior looks like A45 S "rice-tuning". Not really on level of those cars who compete with. I think the best buy is the Bentley W12 Speed. It has better performance and handling than Rolls and still has better suspension than the Merc especially when set to Comfort not Bentley mode. The GLS 600, however, has great rear seats very well padded and comfortable. Mercedes makes up for the price here, because it is definitely cheaper than British cars, but it definitely lacks a 12-cylinder unit. Comparing the Mercedes GLS 600 with the Bentley V8, I would choose the Mercedes. For comfort, presence, ride quality, interior space and interior quality the Rolls is still the best SUV on the market.
Don't forget this car needs a markup. Price of this car is much higher than msrp.

285/325 tires are insane!! I think this monotone example looks fantastic. I haven't seen a monotone until now and it completely changes the look for the better. The hood ornament and chrome bar grill look great. Wheels are great too. Shame about the all black interior. Big let down. The shiney black pinstripe trim looks terrible and cheap. I was expecting white/cream interior with that red color. I am surprised they kept the "hey Mercedes" command and didn't us Maybach. No wireless AA or AC is dissapointing at this price point

Think the G650 Landaulet was the first Maybach SUV and the best looking Maybach SUV. Although it isn't available in North America.

I've currently got a W166 ML350 and a 958.2 Cayenne S. I'm looking for a new car soon. But anyways, driving experience wise over the years, in my opinion is that I personally like the ML350 more, yes it may not be as smooth as the Porsche, build quality might not be on par but I personally like it more cause that's what I prefer. So I don't really trust when people glaze the Rolls Royce cause I never drove one personally. I don't know whether I'd like it personally or not. Therefore comparing a GLS 600 vs a RR Cullinan, I think it really depends on what the person prefers and what they like as a driving experience.

WIth this grill and color, reminds me of the Greased Lightning car from the movie GREASE. The color is only $360? I bought my 2020 GLE 450 SUV 6 months ago and had to pay $1080 for this color. The interior black gray nappa leather is exactly like mine too. My opinion: worth every penny.

Appreciably softer riding than the 63, but not a huge jump over the 580.

We have right now new GLS580 and im kind of dissapointed with suspension, its not the best literally, with 22" winter tires i can feel every bump and pothole.
Does maybach or GLS63 amg serve it better.
What would you recommend if I drive it myself.
Most important thing is comfort.
The air suspension’s ride quality in the Maybach GLS is excellent

I could see the interior being chosen as black. If you have a lot of traffic you don't want to do a lot of maintenance on white leather or a light cream leather... it's not aesthetically pleasing, I agree. The outside is fantastic then you get to the plain black eww
