Rytis, you are bringing interactivennes into windsurfing, because for years it was impossible to see for others what is happening on the windsurfers board. You proffesionalism in windsurfing comes along with camera activity. I guess one day you will have commercial movie about your dream, efforts and achievements in this sport.
Can't wait for the PWA slalom! The fin/foil battles are the most interesting because it is always back and forth with fins faster in the straight and foil gaining at the jibe.
Thanks for the video. Evolution of foil hardware. Rider's technique/skill improving. Wasn't it just 2-3 seasons ago the foil/fin switch point at ~15kts?
Great Video Rytis, could be a Nice teasing of what will be the upcoming PWA slalom events 🤙 Really surprising to see you guys selecting the foil in those choppy conditions, looks like the large jibe on foil was really paying off several times !
Looks Ike the fin is struggling in jibes only with these conditions. Considering exit speed and acceleration is what makes the fin lose terrain I'm wondering if taking wider jibe entry would mitigate the loss. Good video!
respect doing 30knts in this swell, the exit speed of that first jibe really nailed it

Exactly
Oh yes, that was my thought too. This looks like the end of the fin 😂
Wow these 360s are really cool, ‘was there with you, thanks for the upload 🤙🏻💙🤙🏻
Great footage as always Rytis. But please give your own comments on this race.
Brilliant, great footage. I love the gybe's
So exciting! Thanks!

Still figuring it out
super !!!
2022 PWA gonna be so interesting
Dude on foil and NP sails is almost fast as you!
Pretty fast dude haha
Awesome footage as always! Is 91cm still doable? I see the JP guys are on smaller stuff already.
Future fly 187 has a relatively narrow tail so therefore it is very easy to control in high winds.
Great video. What event is this? It seems the gap between foils and fins is narrowing in high wind racing.
Training in Tenerife

You are right on the exit, but the entry wouldn't change a thing u loose speed on fin due to friction and lack of power from the sail at that point
@@RYTISJAS Makes sense
@@WindsurfingNelson the next nail in the coffin for the fin
Nice Video Rytis. Just for comparison sake, what size boards sails and fins where the winners on?
Medium or small boards and 7.0 sails I believe. Some guys were small board and 5.8
Fins was faster!!
