Life is indeed about Ying and Yang, light and darkness, day and night; yet, I am starting to worry about the effect of the interminable and endless despotic rule in Eritrea on our individual and collective psyche, at home as well as in the diaspora. As the new year enters, I think it is about time we stop, pause, think, reflect ... and, then, seriously meditate on the following quote from Frederick Niche: He who fights a monster should see that he himself doesn't become a monster himself.
