I already expected Vadrik to be a fun commander, so glad to see his power here. I did think Old Stickfingers was a bit overhyped and mainly a combo deck, but it looked like a really fun reanimator deck in both games!
That was an enjoyable watch of both games. I liked seeing two games as it gives a general idea of how the decks play out if one deck doesn't perform as well as it should. I've just subscribe.
Golgari has so many good commanders for the yard strategies. Jarad, Varolz, Old stickfingers, Meren, Hogaak, Githrog (kind of), Grist, Gitrog (kind of). I just brewed a Jarad deck 10 minutes before this video and i'm like...yeah...Golgari commanders kind of do the same things...they like death + yards. Put in every mill/reanimate staple and you are good to go.
Defense of the Heart is such a good and underplayed green card. The three creature requirement is not really hard to achieve and getting ANY two creatures directly into play is just nuts
Yes, it's insane in my goldfishes of imoti, celebrant of bounty too. Just cascade into it from imoti or any other spell, or from natural draw, and then it goes off and gets you the green and blue phyrexians into play, and that's just insane advantage. Or search for the "opponents can play even spells" eldrazi, or get that and a koma, cosmic serpent, or just get 2 mana doubling creatures, heck I mean I've never even played nyxbloom ancient, but you could just tutor for that and another doubler and get a phyrexian for 4x mana, or perhaps a clone and ancient to get 9x mana, there are just endless way's that that card becomes insane when you're playing ever overpowered game-ender blue and green creatures.
People who have been playing since the first commander precons have played and won with that card so many times is just boring. It's been in my binder for ages. Just like any combo. It gets boring after a while. Though yeah, if you are just seeing the card it must be like holy cow lol. It's the bomb.
rem karlorus is the underadar cool deck of the set, just build it with hatebear ish creatures, and turn all earthquake into one sided boardwhipe, the rest can be boros good stuff, it's so much funnier than it look.
Missing night/day changes with that commander is pretty big missplay. He would have gotten two procs in a row in the second game...ended up not mattering though.
He's a fun one and not too bad to build. Get a lot of ramp, especially creatures that tap for mana like Elvish Mystic, and various effects that care about your graveyard. Reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead are great. EDHREC is a great resource to see general builds for any commander.
Day and night are simultaneously very cool and horrible cards to track. I kinda wish it was done in a different way as the essential idea is cool but the way you have to track it is quite annoying

I want to build Oldy as a Voltron/infect deck.
I play fingers as one of the 99 in my teneb deck he's fun

Watch out, Sticky Fingers is a powerhouse dude.
Very excited for this episode, been waiting for this episode since I saw the card list from the set
The one game format usually works well for average games but since these were both compact having 2 games was a pleasant surprise
I wasn't expecting a Stickfingers that wasnt just a mike and trike combo

That was a custom playmat from inked gaming

Could you increase the size of the card's images when you postray them as they're being played?

Vadrik killing people with Comet Storm is pretty pog ngl
EDIT: Black Galileo getting his revenge
Dramatic reversal is so useless in vadrik
