Bro this game was so hard for me. Built a huge city and was constantly on zero food, so hard. I fucked up the basics i think
Houses with large veg plots and build plenty of granaries and put people in them, you have to have people working them to transport the food from houses and fields to the granary that then gets distributed to the people
@@connor.2.1 yeah I had people in them but had 250+ people because I wanted a huge army and tons of workers, huge fields that never got plowed😭after this exam tomorrow I’ll try again
@@oscara1471 in case you are having problems. what helped me a lot was to build a lot of chicken plots on the houses and carrots. build more hen houses because you produce eggs faster. they help out a lot when trying to build up farming
the learning curve of this kind of game is diicult. Keep up trying and thing will be easier after the 3rth or 4rth playtrough
@@oscara1471 you can do it. Just have to get a feel for it. My current main town has a pop of about 320 and a surplus of food of abt 600
I love the idea of this game, but how can a small town raise this kind of army? The units interface, initial setup etc are basically medieval total war, minus maybe the tactics? The archers decimated those infantry units there, in MTW you could put them on a spread formation when attacked by archers, so most arrows would just hit the ground, and go back to a box formation just before you've reached the enemy. The graphics though in this game are unreal. They really ought to do a a brand new Medieval Total War with new modern graphics.
They have a lot of units because of abusing the game mechanics and archers just got buffed.
never known anyone to build a church in day one but then saw you starting with 50X supplies

Great game and I appreciate you wanting to make it a better and more even fight but it just doesn't feel like medieval combat without longbows raining down death. What unit is that that you line up in front? Some sort of skirmishers?
It's mistakes in coding archers, because it looks like one shot is one kill. Against armored men it should be 3 or 5 arrows to kill one man and light infantry and militia it should be only 2 direct hits with arrows to kill a man.
They are not actually like that in the unmoded game. They do almost 0 dmg on live.

@@JJmusicGaming u can probably find some videos of it. the main point of it is to buy a bunch of some item, that will raise the market price and then sell most of them and redo this procces many times

Your army positioning could have been better in 1st battle. You are downhill giving the enemy an advantage with the charge. It's a good thing the enemy units don't cooperate well and archers are OP in this game at present.

when the army size is larger than bannerlord lol .... I will not install this game until I see many immersion mods and Castles inside except just villages or towns nad if somebody can give 3rd person control with combat system ..then another immortal game after total war and bannerlord will fill our Drives with pleasure ;) also I love the fact that everything happen on the same global Map , no matter if win or been defeated life moves on on this gameplay , no cut scenes or anything and I admire that the battles thanks to mods are fucking epic huge battlefields and at the same time the rest system works perfectly smooth. This game is like Grand Ages Rome but with better graphics , global map and cool resource system stuff!! About almost a week now and its mods are fucking incredible epic !!!! Keep up Guys we show to many companies that our passion for modding is stronger and the results loved by all instead their needs for profits and stupid updates sometimes. One man here made this game and from the moment the door is opened for mods , let our boys create a game that many companies would envy! Manor Lords will stay and mods are comming day by day night by night :) Keep up Lads!! (Y)
well thats how RTS ( Real Time Strategy ) games are played. everything happens in the global map and you are not transported into different maps.

^^ I'm in pain watching people trying to enjoy Manor Lords poor battle and army system ^^ Just go back to play Total War Games ^^ Total War Attila looks as gorgeous if not more than Manor Lords and with the big Medieval mod and other ones you will have the epic medieval battles you want. The only good things in Manor Lords are the details in city building part but even with those it's way overrated game. Soviet Republic City builder as way more depth in details for example. This game need like 4 more years at the paste it is going to being presented as a serious city builder/army battle system

@@therant311 Hmmmmm... Age of Empire ? Same thing, just another presentation. Look at AoE4 for example, some players like me prefer to pay attention to competition and focus on city building than battles. Obisouly more arcade, as i said, just a diffrent presentation. Manor Lords just go deeper. Nice details but nothing new. And some of the competition is doing same things with much more quality (Soviet Union for the city builder part, and total war for the battles). Manor Lords is just overrated. I think what people like it's just the fact that it is set in medieval era in a "realistic" way. It's a good game but people make it as it is a messi, which is not. The guy is mixing things together that he have seen in other games but with less talent. What he is doing solo is massive, but im a consummer, he could have save the world but if his game is just good, than its good, i will not overrating it for the fact he is solo to make it.
