I love these videos, I just got into mapping for cs2 and am very lucky to have your videos right now. Is it possible to download props from the internet and implement them in the map? Can you do a video about that, because i cant find any on youtube.
so am i right taht overlays coast only "map-size" (because it's a mesh at the end of the day) and no resources (accept meshes) at the client-side is used ? Because i think in the old engine it was projected some kind and used performance on the client side. My point is, it was limited usable in the old engine, because of performance issues wehn using multiply overlays ( called decals in the old days). Is this in fact history ? Thanks for the nice tutorial on this matter. best regards Wammmbo
Nice. First time I've seen a tutorial for these.
Glad you liked it!
These tools are so damn cool. It's like they took Maya and turned it into a level editor. Thanks so much for these tutorials. They're great.
You're welcome!
Thx for making these tutorials!
Dude I watch this video after my overlay of street lines projects on the car model that runs on the street.
We can help you with what you're looking for at our discord! discord.gg/eagle-one
Will you make a in-depth tutorial on how to make proper textures and models using the Material Editor and ModelDoc editor?
Yes that will be one of the upcoming videos for sure!
Wow. Source 1 overlays had like... one option...
So much better now

The game engine will break everything down into draw calls and then based on CPU and GPU VIS will cull out what you can't see
