These giant armors have all been designed for specific purposes, a couple of them not really created by Tony Stark but used by him for quite a while during battles against truly gigantic enemies.

I think it's why American comics have lost popularity to manga. It often feels like a big dick contest where plots are fabricated just to highlight how busted characters are.

When you start with ,,dude with spider powers" but end him saving the world from some 5 dimension entities, that can see past, present and future, then it feels weird

@@JohnWick-rh1zz Yeah I gotta agree, nowadays you have normal heroes doing things that shouldn't even be possible, for example Batman being able to defeat a Darkseid avatar, Spider-Man being able to be more than cosmic, Iron Man literally becoming a god and so on

The Hulkbuster was actually designed to convert damage into power, so the more damage it took from the Hulk, the more powerful it got.

I love these suits. I want you to see this through Tony's eyes. These suits are Huge. How much they must cost to upgrade and repair. One servo burnt out, just need to replace it. All we need to do is manufacture it, fly it out there on a rocket ship, 10 billion miles away across the vast reaches of space. Everyone made it? Ok. Now have the 10 man team repair the giant thing and fly back. They do multiple jobs and work overtime you know. So... How much is this costing? Huge... (Does our stock have a dividend? Which one are we investing in?)

Billionaires still wants to increase their net wealth. If Elon Musk was in this position, he would've sold mass-produced power suits for industrial applications.
One common problem with fictional wealthy geniuses like Stark is, they never commercialized their tech even though it's profitable and pushes forward the progress of humanity. Stark Industries seems very similiar to Lockheed Martin, so it's out of character for him to NOT sell these.

I would very much argue the iron god wasn't an armor at all. It was simply the appearance tony chose to present himself as while he had the power cosmic. The 'armor' had nothing and did nothing itself.
