I hope you're all doing well. If you have a favourite item I'd love to hear in the comments. 😁 Stick around to see what I have in my bag🛍 in a massive shopping haul.
@@Julie-si3hi A big hello 👋 I think all the smaller ones add up to a big one but it would be nice to experience getting lost in a massive thrift store. Although then I might loose half a day like a trip to IKEA.... Ooh now a thrift store the size of IKEA with a cafe 🤩
HEDGEHOG - I love Wade Whimsies. I have the same hedgehog too and I use him as my counter when we're playing Monopoly. He's just so lovely and chunky. Glad I found you. Very relaxing. :)
Stumbled across this video on my recommended page. Loved this. We love having a wander round our local charity shops! Particularly in search of vinyl records 😊
Thank you. 😊😊 I often have a look through the vinyl records although often it seems to be full of Cliff Richard and his many many Christmas number 1's. Do you often find the records your looking for?
I live in Florida. Love your videos. I collect angels. I was disappointed did not see any in your charity shops. I have some whimsy also. Do not have a hedgehog, but i do have a cupid and an angel. Have a great day.
What a wonderful find that box (Egypt?) . The turtles are my favorite because of their cuteness. Lovely items you find this time. It looks like there are so so many thrift(charity)shops in the UK. Here in NL we have thriftshops as well, but you have to search for them. In my village there is one (very small and most of the items are too much damaged/used to sell them properly I think) In a larger city nearby, there are about 8 small shops not more. I love searching in thriftshops, but I guess I have to go to the UK for that. Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing your shoptour and finds.
Thank you. I was so happy to find the box and the turtles. We are so lucky, I didn't realise quite how lucky. Most towns in the UK have lots of charity shops sometimes it feels like there are more than other types of shops. 😊 Its such a shame you've found items not in good condition. I heard a great saying recently 'if you wouldn't be happy giving an item to your mother in law, don't donate it'.
I had those little ceramic animal figurines as a little girl. I still have them somewhere. I also think the HEDGEHOG is one of them. Mine were called whimsies ( spelling?) and the brand was Wade. I used to buy them with my pocket money ,1972-8 ish, so they can't have been expensive. I bought them from a local gift shop/ironmonger. They were very popular and I played with them endlessly. Funnily enough I worked in a zoo for 15 years as a grown up. Maybe they paved the way!
Hi Tiny Mouse! Your channel just popped up on my home page and I love it. I adore charity shopping, and UK travel, so I've subbed to you on both my channels. My youngest daughter is cat mad and she would love that Oscar book. I would absolutely wear the trendy canvas shoes haha. The present making book is fabulous. Oh wow I would love a Koala experience, that must have been amazing. Those tortoises are adorable. Great video. Hedgehog!!
Thank you so much. The koala experience was something I'll always remember. I was so lucky to be able to do it. The keeper made it a full experience and answered all the questions we could think of.
@@tinymouse.travel Sounds amazing. When we were at Longleat last year, we saw someone having a koala experience and I wanted to do it so bad. And there were people having a red panda experience which looked adorable. We did a zookeeper experience for our youngest a couple of years back and it was the best day. Amazing memories.
I loved this video thank you for sharing this! I have just subscribed 😊 love a good bargain and you found some great bits very lucky. I love rummaging though charity shops on my days of I found a olive green hand knitted king size blanket the other day I been wanting one for nearly 7 years couldn’t believe it and it was only £5
Thank you! Now that is a great bargain. Look long enough and everything can be found at a charity shop. Its just grabbing it when you see it. I think if I leave it for tomorrow, someone else could have seen it yesterday and be thinking the same thing. I love that the older items have a story and somebody has liked them enough to have it in their homes all these years.
The tortoises are cute, I have a tortoise so I would definitely have been drawn to them if I had seen them. I have quite a few Whimsies, I collected some when I was little and then inherited more when my Nana died. I love a browse around charity shops but a lot of the ones near me are set out like posh boutiques with prices to match so it’s hard to find a bargain. I’m in Surrey so it’s interesting to see places that are within reach of me. 😀
I think someone must have been collecting them there were so many tortoises in that shop. Did you ever get your orginal Whimsies from a christmas cracker? My grandparents used to get them each year. The charity shops in Surrey are on my wishlist but don't know the area so well, but then that makes it perfect for exploring. Although it sounds like I may end up window shopping 😊
Thank you. 😊 Ah yes!! I'd forgotten they came in tea, and could only remember them in Christmas crackers but now you've said it! I also remember Tetley tea having freebies of their tea characters. I may still have some somewhere. Although they weren't ceramic.
Hello! Just found your channel, you must live near me, I recognise those charity shops! I'm a bit obsessed with the handful along London Road in Portsmouth...and a new one is opening soon 😅 x

Hi new subscriber 😊 wouldn't it be fab to have a huuuge charity shop like the USA!? Although you seem to have a few lovely ones there x

Thank you for another great video, I'm inspired by the freesia bulbs and feel inspired to get outside and plant some flowers for Spring :)
Thank you. It's a great time of year for gardening so many possibilities.
