Jase and crew are bringing heaters. great that you let them talk . It's like we're all sitting at the pub bench racing. Davi if you see this thanks for keeping it 💯. Keep up the great work.
Yes! Love Davi Millsaps. That comment about Mini Warriars 4 was so real for me too. Also my friends Mark Graddy and young Eli Tomac were in it so I loved watching it over and over. The Davi Millsaps part would give me goosebumps. He was such a badass his whole career but extremely impressive to see on mini bikes. Him, Alessi, Tomac, and Villopoto rode like professionals on mini bikes.
2:42:50 I just went back to watch 2013 anahiem 1 and that track layout was soooo sick, is it just me or the track layout/obstacles were wayy better back then?
Davi is one of the coolest guys,I’ve heard people say he’s an asshole but I guarantee it’s when he was having a hard time in his life and I’ve talked to him numerous times and he was always good and signing stuff for me! I have nothing but respect for the man!
Man i’m so glad i’ve witnessed Davi succeed in 2013! Unfortunately he didn’t win the championship but damn that was one of his best seasons ever. That suzuki looked badass too, good times! What a genuine person he seems, i’m glad he got out of his depression and that he’s doing good now🙏🏻 One of the realest dudes out there! Love hearing all the stories, makes my day
Man, i miss seeing davi race. This is the type of dude i need to be around. Get my mind back where it used to be before kids, career, injuries (funny enough last one at mtf military appreciation practice), and old age.
Hey Davi go see a good chiropractor. Get on a good initial regimen with him. Then taper off to where you can go see him once a month to keep everything lined up. 👍 I fractured my L5 and herniated the disk above and below that vertebra coming up about a foot short on a seat hop 50' double. Paralyzed my leg from the knee down. Literally couldn't move my toes or move my foot at the ankle, and my leg felt "dead" to the touch from the knee down. I didn't have insurance at the time so i went to a chiropractor. That man saved my life. It was a commitment and i went through some pretty painful adjustments but i can't say enough about what it did. Give it a shot. 👍
What a great video and interview - Millsaps is my favorite rider of all time - I have an autographed jersey of his - imo the best rider to throw a leg over a bike - I followed his career in the states as well as Canadian nationals - thank you for this interview
I 1000 percent agree with Davi, I've never enjoyed being "high" either. And coming from a tbi as well I can relate to a lot of his symptoms. Excellent interview, Davi is way open I really enjoyed the conversation. I saw him walking in the pits at a worcs race a few years back and should have said hello, good dude! Thanks Jace and Davi
The motivation bit. Got me, iv let myself go after covid was racing back of the pack b class before and now I'm 260 lbs. So not happy and half broke working on cars and barely getting by. That line hit me
God what id give to have a conversation with Davi I lost my little brother to depression and suicide And it’s fucked me up beyond words. Cant wait for his track to get done we have lost so many in Arizona ocotillo, speedworld, pmp, canyon the list goes on and on.
I grew up in brooksville fl I remember going to gator back and watching davi ride if I remember coreectly his dad used to walk with a parrot on his shoulder through the pits always? I always wondered what happened to donnie mcgourdy 248 on yamaha he was fast but disspeared> Growing up in that area rising was epic watching troy adams bubba davi chizz all local heroes i would watch just wondering how the hell they were going so fast lol great show!
Mini Warriors 4 was the shit! What a great interview. I've noticed that if you're microdosing psylocybin whilst taking Lion's Mane it has a much wavier effect! Be careful with that
First of all, amazing interview and Davi’s a fascinating dude and I dig how he communicates. Secondly, Davi is right about the 2 grams of psilocybin. 2 grams can certainly be basically a full blown trip for many people. I know from experience. Tripped quite hard off half an eighth which is less than 2g.
Milsaps winning some of first rounds in 2012 or 2013 was last time SX was interesting, and he is first one to jump that nature double. and we want Weston Peick
Bro I had no idea you and Wes Williams were boys. I got lost in addiction after a surgery for 10 years and ended up in prison now coming up on 9 years since putting that needle in my arm. But grew up riding behind my house on a dirt road that parallel my neighborhood and built a track called “A” track lol. Back in the high school days
They have addiction problems because back then they were handing out highly addictive pain killers like it was candy. That's why you don't see so much addiction now. And you truly don't understand addiction unless you have an addiction. With that being said I love your podcasts and please keep them coming.
That may be your own experience but now people that really need them for pain management can't get treated because of that excuse. It's always been known that opioids are addictive. Doctors didn't just randomly start over prescribing them. 50 years ago, it was even easier to get them from a doctor. It's the culture that changed. Before, you still had plenty addicted to pills but as the population and demand grew, cartels adopted fentanyl to meet the demands. People started seeing more deaths because of the fentanyl so doctors stopped prescribing pills. Now all of sudden you have people that were only using pills forced to choose between withdrawal with no way to taper, or start buying dope off the street. And since dope is now fentanyl instead of heroin, even more people started dying. Many are people who would otherwise never have resorted to using dope. Before fentanyl, the problem was there, just hidden because people that used pills could still function as long as they weren't in withdrawal. Many of the recent overdoses were people that have been addicts for years. All we have done is take a problem that's always been around and take away the safer of the two options. People that are addicted to pills are not given the option to taper off before quitting. The only option is to convert to methadone, which is worse, and then taper off of that. We have to seperate use of prescription drugs from street drugs because now we are forcing people addicted to prescription medication to use the same treatment methods as people addicted to much more harmful drugs.
The concussion stuff is real. Had a guy crash over the top of me in the sprint car and his tire hit my head. I remember on the way home just irrationally screaming at my wife because she changed the radio station and I remember being like why the fuck am I acting like this but completely unable to stop.
I am low testosterone as well after I broke my c3 from casing a jump when I use to race atv for professionally. Ended up years later I found out cause I noticed I was getting a lump under right breast. Found out it was from low testosterone and blood work showed my pituitary gland don’t produce these droplets. So had a mri to see if it was a tumour or head trauma that was causing it not to work. We suspected head trauma which it ended up being. So I have to take a needle every 2 weeks with 250ml of testosterone because I was a 1.2 where average male is 18-20 something
I'm surprised nobody's talking about this but with those cops did is illegal and could have gotten them sued if they had enough money to hire a lawyer back them you can't just arrest somebody because at one store they were hanging out with people doing something stupid but at the next store those same people are doing stupidmeanwhile he's checking out being a good citizen that's not legal it won't hold up in court and they would likely be suspended for a while if it was to go to court
“I get the addiction” as two naive people talk about opiate addiction. It’s always this type that have never been in it that think it’s so simple to just not do it and compare it to riding a bike or weed. Some people are just genetically predisposed to being an addict and if they get started no matter how bad they want to stop they just can’t while some people just refuse to start. Getting started by a doctors prescription is the age old story, many don’t choose it and realize it once it’s too late
Milsaps talking about other ridrrs drug use. He sounds nobel. Why were we never given a readon from him being fired from Kawasaki after "something " was found in his gear bag?
Gypsy tails stays putting out the heat, Davi is rad. Cheers mates!!
Man, wish we could bring back no fear gear. Love seeing Davi is doing good.
Still got mine and it still fits. A little holey and beat up now mind
Davi is a savage! There is nothing better from hearing a legend talking about his life. Thank you! Greetings from Greece

Keep going back and you’ll find the 1990s and 2000s tracks were even better. The sport has gone corporate with cookie cutter tracks. It’s unfortunate
Great pod cast Davi is such a rad dude so down to earth and he’s real
Davi is one of the coolest guys,I’ve heard people say he’s an asshole but I guarantee it’s when he was having a hard time in his life and I’ve talked to him numerous times and he was always good and signing stuff for me! I have nothing but respect for the man!

Man, i miss seeing davi race. This is the type of dude i need to be around. Get my mind back where it used to be before kids, career, injuries (funny enough last one at mtf military appreciation practice), and old age.

This man made the neck doughnut roll cool! Thanks for all the memories Davi!
Davi is the realest guy in moto . And has the cool factor to go along with it, 🤘🇺🇸
In life the comfort zone doesn't exist, but just on the other side of it [with intellect, determination, & motivation] is where Success is.
Very Powerful! Great interview. Love the insight on the mental health aspect.

One of my all time favorite riders! Davi is the man! So awesome to see him around the sport training riders! One of the all time greats!
If he doesn't like drugs then what did kawasaki fire him for?
That road and dirt video was so epic
Another great one, lot of good information. So many topics covered you never hear about elsewhere. 👍🍺
The motivation bit. Got me, iv let myself go after covid was racing back of the pack b class before and now I'm 260 lbs. So not happy and half broke working on cars and barely getting by. That line hit me

Two people never addicted to pills discussing how easy it is to get off addiction to pills lol.
At not point did I say it was easy to get off pills.
Thank you Davi. Most aren't brave enough to be this honest.
If he were honest he would say why he was fired from kawasaki after finding a substance in his gear bag.
Honest,oh please
