I don't know why, but calling the track width "Engine spacers" really bothers me more than it should. I've been in the car world for longer than you've been alive and they have always been called wheel spacers...because they space out the wheels...not the engine/motor.

In jordan 🇯🇴 , these ID cars are all over the country, and the reason is that just the gas prices are like 1.7 dollars for 1 liter of 90 octane gas

He also just said that the 1st edition has it as a special feature. but if I’m not mistaken all of the ID.4s (at least what I know of, maybe all ID’s do?) have those pedals.
My parents had an ID.4 GTX and it had those pedals. Sick car and fun to drive, but too many issues with its software sadly..

Its not really broken as it has a top speed of 85 mph, which you are not able to modify in any way

The pedals are on every ID. model (at least in Europe). My ID.3 has it to. To start the car you have to press the brake, and the car will only change gear if you press the brake and use the gear selector. Also, the VW logo does not light up. Only in China they do

I actually would love for the developers to implement real petrol engines to be available to be put in electric cars in Forza Horizon 5.

I would kill for Forza to allow us to put engines into EVs and vise versa. Also, if they have EVs the full transmission options, I would use them way more often
You don’t need transmissions in an EV.. so seems rather pointless.
@@TheBrucifer not in real life, duh, but in Forza, the ability to shift gears makes a HUGE difference in performance and it just makes it more fun to drive when you get to shift

Mechanic for VW here, 0:57 the id4 is quite accurate. The 1st edition did have the white steering wheel and column. and i believe if memory serves correctly every ID.4 still has the play and pause pedals.
Yeah, it ain't going well for EVs, since we already knew they'd never be more than a decent fraction of the auto industry. It makes sense, many people want longer range than EVs can possibly give, or otherwise tow without losing like 3/4 of their range, or drive in winter at all, so gas still reigns supreme. Lithium did not fix the inherent problems we saw back in the 1890s. If only more companies did what we do with airplane APUs, diesel-electric locomotives, and turboelectric marine drive systems. Why not add cars and trucks to the list as the only vehicles, air, land or sea, that don't already use hybrid drive?

Nah when he's upgrading it look at the speed... 2.8. There must be some kind of glitch where it says that the ID4 can only do 12 mph.
Imagine how even more overpowered it would have been in D-class if you were able to adjust the gearing with the stock RWD drivetrain...
I work as a porter in a Volkswagen dealership in Chicago, and I remember when I first started we had 15 ID4s on the lot, and I been working there for about 5 months, and 0 ID4s have been sold since then😂
I’ve sold lots of them in the last 3 years.

we have the ID4 at home with the play and pause buttons, it sucks that it is limited to 163km/h but it is very fun to drive.

i own an id4 here are some things to note (mine is exact same as fh5 its 1st edition, blue and a 2021 model.)
forza has seriously nerfed this car as its way quicker irl
the interior has brown accents and a black steering wheel rather than white accents.
the car will turn on and get ready for driving when the key is within a small distance.
the car has efficient mode and sport mode.

Nick an electric car turning itself on is not unique to the id4. The polestar 2, Audi etron and etron gt, and the porsche taycan all turn on once you sit in the car with the key fob.
Stop button? That is the pause button.
Nick there isn't any VW ID. 4s I think you ment ID. 4 GTX. The AWD version of the id 4 is just ID. 4 AWD
