Great placement Dave. It’s an unusual forest planting due to the narrow pot shape, but you achieved a good illusion of depth. Best of luck. I will be anxious to see it develop.
I don't have but a few Ficus which are struggling through this first Winter But I really like the way this turned out...Looking forward to following its progress in future video's, fingers crossed and thanks for sharing yet another innovative and inspiring idea...Sequim, WA...
Love forests and tiger barks but somehow don’t think they go together. In the real world, ficus are usually solitary trees or at best clumps. Once the aerial roots touch the ground each ficus becomes a forest in itself. The other challenge I have is reducing the leaf size of these trees; near impossible I feel. I absolutely loved your grouping by the way and look forward to seeing how it shapes up. Good work and good luck!
Nice happy bonsai making cheers 😊
That forest pot is SO COOL. Lots of great looking cuttings you have there. I like the arrangement you have them there. Nice one, Dave!
Nice looking forest. Spring will bring out some nice growth. Great advice on this forest.

Great to see the Ficus and the forest. I am just planning out my own planting with all of my cuttings - it must be that time of year :)
Cool pot.

@@deepanjanbanerjee3491 yeah leaf size is always an issue. We’ll see how it goes.
