Just fyi, kussmaul respirations are a breathing pattern, not the breath scent. They are deep, fast respirations at a regular rhythm. They happen bc the body is trying to blow off the excess CO2. ☺️
Thank you for clarifying. I should of said breathing pattern. During Kussmauls their breath can have an odor that is characteristic of ketones, which some say is like nail polish remover.
