Oh. My. Goodness. I absolutely LOVED all of those items! The candle holder and sideboard particularly are beautiful. Totally agree that Danish design is 👌Enjoy it all Emma! 😘
I love all your purchases! The G-Plan cabinet is great! I remember the name from the 70's. The wooden table decor is so cool, can't believe the great price!
Beautiful, well-chosen pieces, that really reflect you and Simon. And of course, the doggos coordinate perfectly! The house is coming together so well. Cozy winter vibes ahead!
As much as I would love to flip some vintage pieces I have zero creativity, but I love to look at a piece of furniture and imagine how it would look in a room.. As always your style is coming along so beautiful!! What a difference you and Simon made since you both started this renovation series.. Thank you for sharing it with us! 🤗
Emma thanks so much for sharing that site, I hadn't heard of it and will definitely be checking it out! I love shopping pre loved and have shopped this way for a number of years now picking up some wonderful real vintage bargains. Some of my favourite pieces include a wooden biscuit trunk with beautiful lettering on it which I display some plants in and a long wooden storage trunk stained in a lovely old green colour with metal handles, it holds all our tools and displays plants. I have many pieces like this dotted about, all being used for storage and I think they add warmth and history to a place. My make up is stored in a small wooden suitcase with a lovely wooden handle, I imagine it was a child's from the 40s. I love the pieces you have chosen, they fit so nicely in your space, and of course the lovely storied behind them fire our imagination. The walnut vase has a beautiful patina ❤
Waow I'm happy to see you like the french "poterie" as a french person 😏😉 Sometimes an old vintage piece could defently add a artistic/authentic touch. I really like theses pieces and their vibes, bises et bon dimanche 😉👍😘
Love all the purchases great taste as always 👍 I like the G plan look too I often browse on a website that does alot of it...funky Junky..can't wait to see the dining room/ garage renovations best wishes to you Simon & the furbabies 😊xx
I’m afraid we didn’t film anything because there were lots of people involved in the fitting and we don’t like to show that much of the outside of the house, so what you’ll see on Instagram is it I’m afraid 🙈
Hi Emma. What a lovely website! So many interesting things! I have mentally kicked myself however for getting rid of quite a few things I had at the end of the 70s - I'll probably find a few of them here on Vinterior!🤣 As ever, your taste is impeccable and your home gorgeous. I'm looking forward to seeing more updates. I missed not having your vlog to watch last Sunday morning. Love to you, Simon and the Bs (great to see them sprawled on the sofa). xxx
I really enjoy your channel, really like your mid century touches in your new home. Enjoy the process. Agree it’s a marathon and for me, my “renos” may not ever finish. It’s a well-loved hobby. Would you consider doing a tutorial on your kitchen painting? It’s a perfect addition to that space. Happy you seem so at ease and at peace with the current focus of your YT channel. Hugs from Canada. Visiting Calgary area right now, looking for your bear.
Thank you and yes they’re usually never ending 🙊 I can’t say there’s really anything to show that would be useful with regards to the painting. I just painted over an existing canvas with interior paints that we already had x
@@krystinabrown124 It came up initially as being here in Australia, but everything turned out to be in £'s and all items located in the UK when I looked at the products...I was so disappointed!
On a different subject altogether, remember when you bought the Chanel Dad Sandals? I loved them but unfortunately they were out of my price range. In Stansted airport I tried the Dune version but they were too wide 😢 However the next I went to the UK M&S brought out their leather version, so I tried them and bingo they were perfect so I bought the black and the stone coloured ones they are so versatile I love them and wear them alot. So thank you for your fashion blogs, even though I can't afford some of the pieces it's still good to see all your favourites and I can look out for similar items!! Thank you Emma ☺️
Loving your vintage pieces! My favourites were the candle holder, (a versatile piece will always tick my box) and the g-plan sideboard. I grew up with g-plan, so I've heard the name a lot and knew it was quality. Looking forward to seeing more of your renovation journey, and seeing your furbabies (they look so cute on the sofa, the best "styling element" of all)! I'm a lover of mid century too, and living in Denmark it's not surprising we have a few Danish pieces, some of which were bought preloved (not sure they're old enough to be called vintage, yet). My favourite purchase is our dining table, as it's not in production in our version anymore, and definitely not as ubiquitous as some versions (I like that it is a quality piece, but fairly anonymous). But the stand out piece in our homem for many reasons is a sideboard my late father in law made as his apprenticeship piece, when he trained as a cabinetmaker. He ended up staying in the military after his national service so this is the only piece of his in the family. Its a dark wood, very minimal with no hardware and narrow enough to stand in our hallway.
Just the thought of that sideboard has me in love 😉 I love it when people talk so passionately about the items they have in their home and the stories behind them 🙌🏼
Actually had to chuckle at the scene around 9:30! I myself love board games but since I have so little storage space I always feel quite hesitant of buying new ones since the cardboards are always so damn ugly and colorful. I would love to have such a beautiful hiding space for these boxes. Anyway, your video made my Sunday morning!
Haha they don’t have the most aesthetically pleasing packaging do they? 🙈 I had a friend who wrapped her boxes in wrapping paper or wall paper so they looked better, quite a genius idea to be fair 🙌🏼
Trying not to keep buying new interior decor bits and you’re not helping 😂 Wasn’t aware of this site but love the pots and vases, the lamp and the unit. I remember my Grandad having original G Plan furniture and we had to be really careful around it, it was pricey but made to last. Like the up cycling and in black it was definitely meant for your house 😉 Nice to see the pups cameos 🥰
Emma, I've said it often you have incredible style. A woman after my own heart. I love your home and can't wait to see more. By the way, where is that organic shaped white bowl in your kitchen from that's by the two cutting boards?
It’s a 3 seater Kivik sofa from Ikea but with a new linen cover on from Bemz. You can see the before & after with the cover on the home account on Instagram x
Hi Emma ! 😊 Are those real carl hansen wishbone chairs or do you have a good duplicate company to recommend? Thank you and love what you‘ve done with the house so far!
Having just moved to Berlin, I have been indulging my passion for mid-century Northern Europe pieces. Just bought 2 original Bauhaus lamps and 4 pieces of Danish furniture. I’m thrilled.
Haha it just keeps growing and growing. I’m in dire need of a cut though to get rid of all the dead but it’s just not high on the priority list in terms of time right now x
You have a great eye for putting home things together your home is beautiful keep it coming
Thank you x
You had me at Mid Century. I also incorporate a little Scandinavian too. Your home looks so peaceful and restful. Beautiful!
Another excellent video. Beautiful pieces. You’re so calming to watch and listen to. ❤️
Love the shot with the B`s all snoozing on the sofa ! xx

as always, beautiful and cozy
Love this video. I think buying vintage pieces really bring a bit of character to a minimalist interior and you end up with pieces no-one else has.
I love the greek vessels!!🌷
This is great! I love shopping for vintage pieces we have many second hand and antique pieces in our home. X
Love this and those pants!!

Such creative storage ideas there, and I agree, I love a story behind something or even just to imagine who it might have belonged to 🙊

I love everything you got Emma; I have just looked online and found that we have a Vinterior in Australia too! ❤❤
Oooh thanks Jay Jay!! 👍🏻🇦🇺
Do we? Can you please share the website, nothing comes up when I search for it in Australia 😢
@@krystinabrown124 It came up initially as being here in Australia, but everything turned out to be in £'s and all items located in the UK when I looked at the products...I was so disappointed!
Tks for all the info. House looking good! Love from Can
Love the kitchen decor, very classy 😘
I love it all!
I love all the items Emma especially the upcycled sideboard. I have just bought some vessels here in Spain for my garden. keep the videos coming ☺️

This winter, I will probably be asking Emma for help on my home projects. ❤️

Hi Emma. These were really lovely pieces and I admire the fact that everything in your new home has had so much thought behind it. 🧡🍁🍂
Very nice and beautiful Emma
i like how art behind you matching colour scheme! is it what you made by yourself?
babies sleeping on the sofa 😍
and your pants 👍🖤🤍
Yep that is an upcycled canvas x
❤️❤️❤️ beautiful pieces, Emma! 👌🏻😁🌺
Emma Hill, always ♥️ lovely to *see* you.( I hate it when I type too fast.)
Love this video - great website to find vintage pieces - thank you! Where is the wall art from?
The wall art is just a canvas that I up-cycled by using paint we already had and some wood that we had to create a frame x
Emma, I've said it often you have incredible style. A woman after my own heart. I love your home and can't wait to see more. By the way, where is that organic shaped white bowl in your kitchen from that's by the two cutting boards?
It’s by an Australian brand called Dinosaur Designs x
Hi Emma, enjoyed the video, looks like your home is coming along nicely. I like your sofa off the kitchen area, would you let me know where it’s from.
It’s a 3 seater Kivik sofa from Ikea but with a new linen cover on from Bemz. You can see the before & after with the cover on the home account on Instagram x

No these were from Cult. We couldn’t afford CH but tbh these ones are great 🙌🏼

Danish design is the best 🙌🏼 That’s so exciting, congratulations on your new finds x
Lovely pieces! ... Where'd you find the pot for your Fiddle Fig Leaf plant? I haven't had any luck, yet! 😞
We buy all our pots from a local garden centre and I paint them x
@@EmmaHill Good to know, thanks!
Omg when did your hair get so long!?😍 I absolutely love it like that Emma. The kitchen is looking👌

Nice 🤍😀
Never heard of Vinterior but heading to their site right now! Thanks (yet again) for such a thorough description, Emma. 🤎🤎🤎
Happy browsing! You’ll be on there for hours if you’re anything like me 🙊
