I look at surf as a relief. it just looks so peaceful and eligant. I live in oceanside CA but can't afford a board :( I've always been into swimming especially in the ocean and I'm now trying to save for a board. I don't expect to be pro but I guess now is the time to make my own story...

Mystically_Epic how’s you story going? I was inspired by your enthusiasm. Hope you have a decent board by now but if anyone can’t get a board just surf anything. A dinged up pig that someone is throwing out or even a plank of would. Seriously, that’s what everyone rode at one time. Just getting out there will set you up physically and earn you cred for when you do get a decent board, and where I surf, me or someone would recognise your enthusiasm and give you an old board. That’s part of surfing culture, but I hear people are all dicks in CA. Keep on keepin on Mr Epic and share more of your story please.
