- I may be biased as I a Blue Bull supporter and was 13 at the time, but this is one of the most epic games of rugby I have ever seen.
This Super 14 rugby game was the first in South Africa, the first grand final in South Africa, and resulted in the first South African champion in Super Rugby.
When the Blue Bulls and the Sharks play each other, the energy is always electric! And this game was the game that tops all games. Absolutely epic! 2007 was an amazing year for South African rugby.
For as long as I live I will never forget this game...Go Bulls

He was not the nominated kicker for that game, but they allowed him to kick... and he missed! If he'd kicked over that conversion it would have been game over. Not taking anything away from the Bulls. They kept their composure, stuck to the basics, kept on playing, consistant tackling till the last second, and we WON! And we deserved it! I was in my element when the final whistle blew... in Jo'burg, and I lifted the roof with my celebrating and so did some of the neighbours! What a day of Super Rugby! Go Bulls! 🏉🥇🤗⚡
Kiwi fan here, I remember staying up to watch the Final then the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Man United.. this was clearly the superior game to watch.
This is the first time I’ve been able to watch these highlights since I watched Habana destroy us.
Young Francois Steyn destroyed the Sharks that day.. young and arrogant he grabbed the ball after your last try and said he'll kick the conversion. He was not the nominated kicker for that game.. and he missed. It would have been game over and Sharks winning by 8 points!

Yeah I was confused with that part but then what came after was even more infuriating. The bulls kick chase in a last attempt to score a try, the sharks full back catches the kick, and then KICKS IT BACK WHEN TIME IS UP!!

They did get the ball back when it hit 80 minutes theyb tried to kick out but failed it was a good game tho
