found out today that md all-state won’t be holding concerts for 2021. i’m immensely disappointed. this was my first concert (alto gang!) and “irish blessing” & “i sing because i’m happy” are hitting differently right now. i’m a senior. this would have been my last year of all-state, and i’m so sad it’s not happening. but i love coming back to this video and reminiscing of my time with this wonderful group of people. thank you, md. all-state. until we meet again.

I'm a senior too and have never gotten to be in senior all state, 2019 because i had mono, 2020 covid, and now still covid lol. However, this director is probably the best we've ever had and I'm so grateful that I didn't get sick that year lol.
Best part is when everyone has no idea when to clap in I Sing Because I’m Happy, I was just awkwardly putting my hands together, acting like I knew what I was doing
