The finger print machine is the issue. 2 tries cannot detect, you will need to call for staff to help. They will ask you to off your engine, hand over your key and push your bike to the front office.

If i'm not mistaken, all or at least most lanes can use both QR code and physical passport. I still prefer using passport to clear bike lane as its faster. Not all riders put their hp on the handle bar. But i always use QR code whenever im driving in coz i find it easier.

Thanks a lot for sharing!! But One important detail: which lane to use? Yes,, for motorcyclists. Can we scan at all the lanes? I wanna to try this. Thanks!

👍🏽. Only manual lane (usually the 1st) scanner is off. All other lanes can do offer both QR and passport scanner.

usually what lane do u go as a big bike? i dont visit jb often and i always go to the first lane manual at sg side, also after qr code, do we need to take out helmet and face scan? or just thumbprint can already

For 1st lane, still need to remove helmet etc.
For big bikes in woodlands checkpoint, if possible (during non-peak) use the last lane for scanning

is VEP open to bike yet?

It's always open. I remember doing mine in 2019, but only got approved in 2021.
It's not mandatory for motorcycle to have VEP for now. I personally hope that that will remain the case forever. Else, like car drivers, we will have nightmares.
