Toyota Vios in Vietnam has no 360-degree camera and Safety Sense. I'm so jealous.
Every country has their own specifications setup. Unfortunately your country doesn't have it. But I think you still can install the aftermarket 360° camera which is pretty good nowadays.

4:35 Comparing to Yaris, Vios' NVH is slightly poorer? Because you can hear some high-pitch motor sounds while it is almost silent in your Yaris video. Or is it the noise from air vents? How did you actually feel about this while driving it?
Actually I can't really felt both have different in terms of NVH level. Design wise both are mostly the same, but each car has built up differently even they were built from the same factory. So if nick pick probably you notice some little differences but usually won't be significant.
Can't help but notice how old school the design of the Vios interior and really the overall design looks outdated and long in the tooth. If compared side by side with the latest Almera, it's like night and day difference, it's like 2 vehicles from 2 different era!
Personal preference maybe. Some might find it more pleasing some will find it a bit dated. To me the new Almera no doubt is a bit modern in the design.
Nick, sure almera look latest since it is a new platform altogether. Anyway, i still choose vios for its RV plus its reliability. Old is gold.
Hey Admin, I am having a dilemma between city 1.5V and vios 1.5G. What js your recommendation and why? I will be frequently driving from Semenyih to KLCC for work, so will drive in the city and highway frequently. Your opinion is greatly appreciated ☺️

Im having same dilemma before and end up go for vios. Why? Coz resale value higher than honda. Why resale value? Coz in future, i plan for fortuner or harrier. Hehehe. Thats my own view lah. Its subjective.
Hi, I think from my perspective it’s good to go for Toyota but if you prefer modern, stylish look then Honda.
Toyota cars usually last very long, much longer than industry standards. You can expect to drive this Vios well into 2030, & the quality can barely be compromised. Honda is great as well but I’ve heard of story where you need to do full overhaul after 200k km or frequent hillside travelling.
Plus, I’ve worked with Toyota Malaysia in the ASSB Plant & can assure you that their QC control is one of the best in the Automotive industry.
That said choose any of these two for your own preference, at the end your money is worth as much as your own satisfaction.

From the official specifications yes. It stated turning radius is 5.1

I had answer this question so many times 😂. Anyway I think both are quite similar. To me I think vios is a bit more sporty to drive (drivability better TNGA platform) city is a better daily car (it is more spacious feel).

I think the regular VIOS makes more sense. If you like a bit more sporty feels then you can go for the GRS. But there are many aftermarket mod can be done.

@@anandpradep9421 It depends on what you want to modify. Rims, Exhaust, Bodykits, Headlamps etc you name it. But beaware any modifications made will be void the warranty.
hmm still think almera is one of the best looking b-segment sedans but sadly not a lot on the road compared to new city and vios yet....

I am not sure which version you refer to. But the road clearance should be not much in different. Unless it has been lowered or going over bumps too fast.
When ur driving straight road the steering not centre, alignment need to be done.

Depends on what you need or want. If you want a car is more practical and more boot space than the Vios. Because it has a boot for you to put your stuff. As for Yaris due to its hatchback form factor. It is more fun to drive, especially on twisty roads.

Why sometimes the lane watch appear when you signal left or right, sometimes it doesn’t appear?
It is the Toyota 360°camera and no Honda lane watch which works on all speed but only for left turn. It will show the 360° camera while in low speed.

Which one has better interior, the Vios or City?
Personal preference. To me the City gives the vibe of roominess, practical and modern while Vios has a bit of characteristics, sportier feels. Built and material used are pretty similar in quality. But I like the material used more towards to City and I prefer the Vios meter cluster 😅.

So far ok la this car. I just owned it. Cuma engine dia kindda loud juga, and the steering soft friction sound blh dgar bila turn steering on slow speed. Sometime I feel a little bit annoyed. Haha

How does the 2021 Vios fair against its closest rival, the 2021 City ?
They are pretty close if compare both Vios 1.5G and City 1.5V specs. Just a little personal preference that makes you decide to purchase one of it. If you prefer more spacious interior, exterior design a bit special(not that conventional) City will be the choice. Else if you care about more safety features and a bit more dynamic driving capability then Vios is the choice. Those are my preference tho.

How good is the acceleration?
From my video acceleration 7.28 it uses around 15 seconds from 0 to near 100kmh. Of cause the time might be different from other try or other person who floor it.
