- It's a shame, lots of games are lost on their original hardware. But some games deserve a second chance. I played this game on the NES as a kid and this is why we need another version of this game today!

This game is an under rated classic,I'd love to see a modern Switch version of it!!
I was a huge fan of these games growing up. Also used to cut out the pages with the comics from MadMagazine.
There are 3 Spy vs Spy games on Commodore 64. One was released on NES and two was released on Famicom!
This game definitely looks interesting there’s a ton of game canceled games I would love to see get the treatment if a modern version lien sonic mars/sonic extreme a canceled sega Saturn game but that’s a whole can of worms a type of game I hope we see more of is adventure games with a 3d platformer based move set there’s this game called blue fire that does exactly that

Hell, I'd be down with it just to see more production value and elaborate traps. After all, the whole joke from the source material was the over-the-top killing methods.

I'm the type of guy who has only ever found a handful of games on 8 bit hardware to be *actually* fun, most of which are Nintendo platformers. It's really cool to see a unique 8 bit title in a different genre that both looks like it fits on the hardware and actually seems to be fun.
It still feels like a 30 year old game if you play it today, but I still find a lot of fun with it, with proper expectations.

While not a spy game. "Screen Cheat" is a game that takes advantage of the split-screen format.
Yes! I have played this game and love it, it's definitely the "shooter" take on this idea for a game.
What a classic
There is a 2005 Remake of this game under the same name, its not exactly the same thing as theres a few changes and the game is 3d but its there, not many people liked it
I haven't played it, but from my research is has a multiplayer mode that keeps the collect-all-the-items-and-escape gameplay. But it has lost the local spying gameplay I enjoy so much.
I always had a disdain for this game. I liked the characters from Mad magazine though.
