How do you like the bike? Pros and cons? Looking at few GasGas emtb enduro 2.0, trail 2.0, trail 3.0, and the gasgas cross country 3.0.

So first off I have to start with this is my first E-MTB so the only thing I have to compare it to is my regular mountain bike. That being said I really like it. It's gone tons of power for the trails I ride. Some people complain about it not being enough but it could do any climb I threw at it. I was also surprised with how well it handled the fox suspension is very plush and was also surprised about the pereli tires that came on it hook up really well. The only complaint I really have is the brakes aren't the best but also might just need a bleed but I've never heard anything good about sram brakes. Also the Yamaha controller can't hook up to my Garmin in anyway so features are more limited compared to most ebikes but otherwise man it's a really great bike I've really enjoyed it the few times I've had it out I'd highly recommend it if you can get it on sale like I did.

Its not the breaks, its the break pads. Swap them out for some softer ones with more grab @nulk1

@@Pinionaire i picked up the gasgas xc 3.0 and it came with Sram Level T brakes which is think arent that great. You say softer pads? Which ones? The levers feel too soft and im sure its bled properly as it was checked before it was handed over to me.

@geocalamansi8356 ah well , I can't speak for the XC bike because I have the Trail.3.0 which is an All Mountain. I imagine the XC is specced and geometry for more flat terrain, so less powerful breaks would be permissible.
Regardless, softer break pads, like organic material break pads will wear out quicker than composite material, but will be much more effective in stopping the bike.
