    If they made it so the consumer could replace the blades they'd sell a heck of a lot more of them.
    Also if the hole for the shear pin was threaded you could use a set screw to hold the blades closed and use that actual broadhead to practice with then just remove the set screw and insert a shear pin and go hunting.
    Not being able to keep the blades closed to practice with you're going to dull those blades in a target.
