The Thorn XV Broadhead is an expandable head that offers a 2-inch cutting diameter when the blades are fully deployed. A unique blade locking system holds the blades tight inside the ferrule in flight.

There great I went and toured the shop and made some my self

If they made it so the consumer could replace the blades they'd sell a heck of a lot more of them.
Also if the hole for the shear pin was threaded you could use a set screw to hold the blades closed and use that actual broadhead to practice with then just remove the set screw and insert a shear pin and go hunting.
Not being able to keep the blades closed to practice with you're going to dull those blades in a target.
