The difference is with jumpers he just shoots, no overthinking it. This year it's pretty much one motion. With free throws he over thinks it (how I'd label his dribbling) and he has all this wrist motion at the end.

middleton is excellent. bucks offensive rating with giannis and middleton (no dame) on the court is 144. bucks offensive rating with dame giannis and middleton is still high at 122. bucks bench has the 2nd best net rating in the league. bucks don't need anything other than damian lillard to RUN, pass the ball and play C grade defense. problem is damian only does that around 50% of the time.

If Giannis could pass and play slow like Jokic he’d be unstoppable. Jokic just has too much value in his passing game it puts him head and shoulders over everyone. Along with his ability to play quick or slow it down at will there’s just nobody taking Jokics MVPs unless they deliberately make it a point to give it to somebody else. When you’re shooting at damn near 60% with his offensive volume, his turnover/assist ration, and rebounds on top of it there’s hardly anything anyone can do to stop you from winning MVP every year. Jokic has Giannis season total of assists by the 40th game of the season, it’s not even a debate between the two.
assist is a great skill, but Jokic's defense for a center is atrocious. When Bucks were down by 26 or something against the Nets, Giannis single handedly swung the momentum by being all over the floor both on offense and defense. Jokic is simply not doing that. God, basketball is more than just an offense centric game. Giannis now can shoot midrange and he is a much better playmaker, ofc not like Jokic. But... if we're comparing Giannis' defense and Jokic passing, Giannis passing deficiency is much lower compared to Jokic's defense
