Something that seems to be confusing ti me at the momemnt is when i attempt to use automation with delay for specific words in the song it Increases the overall volume of the section im atomating .. how can i fix this.
If you are automating delays to come in and out that will increase the volume. This is because you are sending additional level to the Aux track that houses your delay plugin. To account for this, you must do volume automation on the overall vocal track on top of the delay automation. It's a bit of work but will solve your problem.
