I like the black wheels on this one and the dark blue color. My 2023 Kicks has black wheels. I also like the moon roof. But my Kicks was so much cheaper, and it came with a spare tire and remote start.
I really really like the new Kicks but I hate that the cost of the top trim SR with Premium Package has went up so much in price. The 2025 FWD SR Premium now is around $29,500.00 to $30,200.00 (depending on color choice) and the 2025 AWD SR Premium is $31,000.00 to $31,700.00 (depending on color choice). It can go well in to the upper $32K range with accessories. The 2024 FWD SR Premium was a few thousand cheaper. As you know there was no AWD option in 2024. I understand it has more features and such but it seems like cars just keep getting more and more expensive. Thankfully the starting price is similar. I do really like that they kept a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine and used an engine that has been out for hears and is proven reliable. I am glad they did not use a turbo as turbos are proven not as reliable. I am sure they went by what buyers wanted such as some more power by having a larger engine, having an AWD option and offering a Panoramic Roof. I think a sunroof like GM used in the new Trax and Envista would have been perfect and saved some money. But overall I think Nissan nailed it with the Kicks its just a shame that the mid trim 2025 SV Premium is now the price that the top trim 2024 SR Premium was.
Im not getting all the excitement from this new model. Is it better than last years kicks of course. But after driving the SR model with all wheel drive. It just doesnt have enough power. It was fine around the city, but on the highway I wanted to see how it passes at 65 or 70 to get around slower traffic, jeez, no thanks. For a grocery getter sure its ok. But if you travel or live in hilly or mountainess area skip this model.
Cvt's are weaker then conventional automatics so you MUST change the fluid every 30k miles or less. Most people don't care and never change the fluid until the transmissions starts acting up which is why they go out all the time.
I will admit that I do think this is a nice looking vehicle. But I would choose the 2025 chevy trax lt trim vehicle over this one because it doesn't have the dreaded cvt like everyone despises and it is much cheaper and has the same equipment except for awd which I really don't need to begin with. The close to $30000 price tag for this new Nissan is a no go for me.
First review of new kicks that was very informative. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed!

I’m going to a Nissan dealership tomorrow for a maintenance issue and I hope to see one! Nissan did a great job here.
I wish it had at least 227hp or more, hood struts, power tailgate, ventilated seats, rear ac vents and full led exterior lighting.
And power driver seat at least
Add another $7500 and they would be able to do that for you.
you don't care for fuel economy? just say it lol
Adequate, reasonable, sounds like they put a lot of thought into it

And massively expensive for the top model….why can’t anyone produce a truly affordable vehicle anymore?
And that's with a crappy CVT

That's called as vehicle mafia, they make sure in an organised fashion that any company provides a complete package for only an unfair price 😅
@@mikenone4077Fact. People go way beyond the time frame to just change oil. Much less trans.
Those are not running additional lights, only decorative accents...
You're correct. I misspoke.
My understanding is on the SR they are daytime running lights
I reached out to Nissan to double check, yes. SR gets additional lamps. SV and below do not.
It’s Finally A Proper SUV!
No CVT- they suck all manufacturer should have been sued for forcing this on the public- just like crappy plastic headlights
