Here's the thing. To me this launch lineup is perfect. I'm a child, like many others buying the switch, and all I have to use to buy it is my allowance and such. If all the big games came out at the same time, I would have to pick only one or two to buy. But, with the spreaded out game releases, I can sparatically purchase them and play them to their full extent, without having to wait, get spoiled, or be sad about missing the hype train.

I didn't get Kirby Planet Robobot until recently, I've only been playing the 3DS demo of Yoshi's Woolly World, I heard a bunch of great crap about Pikmin 3 and Lego City Undercover despite never acting upon any of it, and there are so many great VC titles I missed out on (LoZ Skyward Sword, LoZ Spirit Tracks, LoZ Phantom Hourglass, PKMN Rangers, PKMN Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky, Mario 64, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, Earthbound, PKMN Snap- GOD DAMN IT, SLOW DOWN!!!

Pun jokes aside, i think the squidlings are a breath of fresh air for nintendo, but i could not bring myself to buy splatoon. Don't get me wrong, it looks quite fun, but it hardly re-invents the wheel and i think the $60 price tag is a bit steep. I did learn that it's to contribute free updates, but it's still not something i would pay $60 for if i'm too on the fence.

My parents got me a Game Durngle for my birthday. I finished playing Hardcore Solitaire the day after I got the system. The only downside was that the disc blew up right after I finished, the disc blew up. Thats while you will never find a used Game Durngle game at Gamestop. Another one of my complaints is that my dog got a hold of it, and licked the cheese filling out of it :(. But hey, i can't complain because of the AWESOME GRAPHIX!!!!!!!!

It's funny, because this isn't what ended up happening at all. The Switch launch was so huge that they couldn't meet demand for the whole first year...they didn't have to try with a hard launch, it just happened.

If/when I get one depends heavily on stock. If I can't find one at $300 by the end of April, I'll likely ignore it for quite awhile. Even the *NEW* 3DS (XL?, gah, I hate the 3DS's naming scheme) seems more difficult than I'd like to find at its MSRP (online anyway, I haven't checked physical stores because I don't care enough). Edit: I guess it's just Amazon/Walmart pricing that's messed up. Weird.

Also if they sell it now for die-hard fans, holiday 2017 to general public with Mario and holiday 2018 with brand-new Pokemon game made for Switch, they might have 2 years of great sales :)

No I didn't preorder, I didn't have the money at the time. Reggie has said the Switch won't have supply issues like the NES mini, but Reggie says a lot of things, so I'm worried.
I waited til Christmas for my switch and ive been neglecting my poor gaming PC since then. Got the 3 trifecta titles (MK8, Super Mario Odyssey and BotW) and it's been hard to put it down since! Still lacking a proper carrying case and a pro controller but it hasn't stopped me from taking it with me. I have't owned a handheld since the PSP and I forgot how great it was to have this kind of freedom with games. Now you can play Skyrim on the go? I'll never spend $60 bucks on that game again but if it was my first time playing then thats probably the greatest thing ever. Glad I've waited. Glad I'm back in the Nintendo game!

Sub Boy, neither i nor anyone i know can build a pc. and i can save you some time replying. you see, some people can build a car from the ground up, some people can do their taxes every year and get maximum returns. these people can't understand why everybody doesn't do it, it's simple to them. building a pc is a skill that must be aquired, if you did a great job on your first go, that just means you have a natural talent to bolster your skill levels. i've done the legwork, and pre-built in australia will run you about $2000=2500. buying the components and building it yourself (which i can't do, but i like to be thorough), will run you $1000. selling a ps4? $200 if you are very lucky. i won't be joining the master race anytime soon. these prices are for an ENTRY LEVEL gamers pc, btw.

I waited til Christmas for my switch and ive been neglecting my poor gaming PC since then. Got the 3 trifecta titles (MK8, Super Mario Odyssey and BotW) and it's been hard to put it down since! Still lacking a proper carrying case and a pro controller but it hasn't stopped me from taking it with me. I have't owned a handheld since the PSP and I forgot how great it was to have this kind of freedom with games. Now you can play Skyrim on the go? I'll never spend $60 bucks on that game again but if it was my first time playing then thats probably the greatest thing ever.

your outlook is amazing for nintendo I teared up a little with happy tears because of the happy vibes of the switch's future portrayed in this video which I don't think I could express in to words the way you just did. On a personal note this is the last nintendo console of my 20's since ill be turning thirty next year so I feel like this is the final tiny bit of something in my childhood innovating and doing something exciting for me, for the last time. I know gaming won't end for me in my 30's but I just have a feeling its going to seem different as life changes for me. so long stoy short the hype is real and im excited for the console launch and im all set at best buy.

Sub Boy, neither i nor anyone i know can build a pc. and i can save you some time replying. you see, some people can build a car from the ground up, some people can do their taxes every year and get maximum returns. these people can't understand why everybody doesn't do it, it's simple to them. building a pc is a skill that must be aquired, if you did a great job on your first go, that just means you have a natural talent to bolster your skill levels. i've done the legwork, and pre-built in australia will run you about $2000=2500. buying the components and building it yourself (which i can't do, but i like to be thorough), will run you $1000. selling a ps4? $200 if you are very lucky. i won't be joining the master race anytime soon. these prices are for an ENTRY LEVEL gamers pc, btw.
