I own a pse fortis 33 e2. Love this bow and draw I didn't like the elite draw cycle at all when I shopped around I also liked the lift but couldn't get a deal on it locally You ought to see about finding a pse omen e2. Sweet shooter and fast
@@c.r.rg9529 The Omen is one I definitely want to get my hands on one day just to build out a pure speed bow. I think PSE has been the sleeping giant of the industry for the past few years. But, as the last video proved for me, all the new bows are pretty similar in a lot of ways. Thanks for the comment!
@joelculpepperoutdoors4262 I 4got to mention the prime rvx 4. It was the smoothest draw but the initial price point was too high for my budget. Iwas trying to start at $1k. That's initially why the fortis was considered.
@@c.r.rg9529 I understand that. Prime is on the list but no one carries them near me right now so I will just have to wait before I try one. I am very interested in them though.
@@paulheberling2750 Unfortunately, there was no Omen available at the time. There still isn’t one at the shop for me to look at since it’s a few years old. Maybe they will have one soon.
F them all! They will be "out of fashion" in the next 6 months! The compound market is just brainwashing sales propaganda these days! I have a 2014 Bowtech Assassin that can do just anything these "high-end" models can do! And I dare to say it does it even better!
@@joelculpepperoutdoors4262 good luck with your search then! I would look for the simplest, most reliable cam system (especially regarding the synchronization) and a drop-away rest. Everything else is just marketing. The deer (or the target) won't know the brand of your bow, and a few extra fps will not make any difference (or compensate the flaws in your form). Happy hunting!
Wanna take your bowhunting to the next level.... Ditch all those fancy compounds !!! Go get yourself a recurve and practice like crazy till you can hunt with it. There's nothing like smoking a mature buck with literally a stick and string with no sights, or release aid. It's an indescribable feeling to watch an arrow blow through a buck from the ground as he walks by at 10 steps. Get out of your comfort zone and explore a whole different world of bowhunting. You won't regret one minute !
@@matthunter1667 I definitely have that on the bucket list. I want to get proficient with the compound and take a few animals with one before moving to the recurve.
You can move the cable guard on the omnia.
@@michaelbushey2787 I thought of that after we left the shop! I’m probably going to shoot it again with the cables moved to see if it’s any better.

@joelculpepperoutdoors4262 ofcourse the prime as I have seen in reviews isn't known for speed
@@c.r.rg9529 That’s been the big complaint I’ve seen on them, but if that is their only flaw, they must be nice to shoot!
Not seeing the Omen in the lineup
