Families are very important to Filipinos. It is usually frowned upon when grownup children do not respect or take care of their aging parents. Perhaps it's a combination of culture and practicality but many stay with their parents even after marriage or in some cases, the parents live with their children. It's also very common in Filipino households to include extended families. I'm glad that SB19 have very supportive and loving families who keep them grounded. I hope they will continue to stay humble and God-fearing despite the fame.
I saw Tita Aldrene and Tita Gemma at Novotel for the Pagtatag Finale. I was too shy to ask for photo since there's already a line of people asking; they are still private people after all. But they are very kind, gracious and just happy to see fans. Josh's dog is also an instant celebrity, so adorable 😁.

I think having a close relationship with your parents/family is something to be proud of and those kids who bullied you missed out if they didn't see the value of having a relationship with their parents or family. Its really hard to be a parent..it really hurts when u see your child's struggle..for them to be strong, parents must be seen stronger..its hard to pretend but you must.. parent's guidance and support is a never ending role esp to sons, its in the bible..probably bcoz theyre the ones who will continue to raise a family..God is so good to Mahalima. Some people tried to drag them down but God continues to help them rise and be a good example to others.😊😉🥰✌️
This is my first time to watch the interview with Pao's parents. I kind of teary-eyed because you can feel their love to God and family. Filipinos are very religious people whether you are a Catholic/Christian, Muslim or other religions. PS - my daughter loves your mushroom earrings ❤
During the height of the trademark issue, I think it was just a week after and all the boys were radio silent, we actually went to Tita Grace’s cafe. It was a huge group and we just had our get together. Tita Grace was there to oversee us and Tito Ted decided to stay when he visited the cafe. Towards the end of our stay, they both had their speeches and Tita Grace cried. We really just let them know that we fully support the boys and how they have inspired us. We even asked for their autographs. 😅 A’Tin is the only fandom (I think) that would also ask the parents for photos and autographs and treat them in the same level as the boys. 😅😅
