Oh yay, i’m so happy you’re reacting to Chris Stapleton. I am a huge, Queen and Freddie Mercury fan, but Chris is my favorite contemporary artist. He is so amazingly talented. I highly suggest you react to him singing this song live at Austin city limits. I have many other recommendations for you as well. Chris Stapleton: -Tennessee whiskey live at Austin city limits -I was wrong live Austin city limits -what are you listening to live -The video for “ starting over” -The video for “Fire Away” -“I hope you dance, Chris Stapleton and Morgane Stapleton” live Saint Jude charity -the song “higher” -video- Daddy doesn’t will anymore These are just a few to start. You really can’t go wrong, every performance is perfection, he’s even better live.
Thank you soooo much Catherine for the great suggestions, I’m so glad you enjoy him because I will be reacting to a lot more of Chris. This 1 performance already has me hooked, his voice is insane!! I’ll be checking some of those out and sharing soon 🚀💛 thank you again
@@PlutoPlease i’m so excited that you loved him! I also love how much he highlights and supports his band members. I can’t wait for you to react with him singing with his wife Morgane. Another one I forgot to name that he sings with his wife and Leslie Jordan is “Farther Along”. It brings so much joy to my heart. Leslie passed away, not too long after they filmed the video. The song is a church hymnal that leslie used to sing as a kid. It’s the sweetest thing. By the way, Chris was a songwriter for years before he started singing. He has 8 Grammys. His wife urged him to start singing about a decade ago. It’s been said that he had had bad stage fright, she who is also a singer and songwriter, urged him to start singing publicly.
You definitely picked the best here.. gotta love some Chris.. this man has such a soulful voice.. I'm a country music fan from way back in the day with my Pop-Pop introducing me to Johnny Cash, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Lorretta Lynn, Staler Brothers.. all Dead now.. but Chris keeps country true to me.. it's not the same as the old ones but.. dang.. great music
When doing Chris, you should always do live. He is spectacular. The only exception is "fire aways". When you react to "fire away" please do the official video ... favorite live performances is "cold" I believe it is at the CMAs , "White Horse" ...
Chris was a very successful songwriter for 10 years before he started singing solo. During that time he also sang with The Steeldrivers (Bluegrass) & with The Jompson Brothers (Southern Rock). Tennessee Whiskey was his first big hit. That's ironic because it's a cover, not his. The people he introduced: JT Cure on bass & Derek Mixon on drums are his basic band & they've been with him for about 2 decades by now; Dave Cobb is his producer & likes performing with the band; Mickey Raphael is amazing on harmonica &, as Chris said, has played with Willy Nelson for about 50 years now. In most of his performances you will also see/hear his wife Morgane (pron. Morgan) singing backup. She's a talented singer/songwriter in her own right.
@PlutoPlease Great reaction! Chris is a living Legend! Please react to his performance “2021 CMA Awards “Cold” 🔥. He won Grammys,CMA’s,etc., for it! Also his performance “Sometimes I Cry (Bing Lounge)” & “2023 CMA Awards “White Horse” performance is 🔥. Welcome to rabbit hole of Chris Stapleton! Btw, better performance of this song is “Tennessee Whiskey (Austin City Limits)” his wife Morgane sings harmonies on most of his songs. He writes his own songs unless occasional cover! He’s soul, blues,R&B,lil rock & Outlaw Country all in 1 amazing voice. He’s in his own genre! Thanks friend! Enjoy! 😊. Also he’s so much better LIVE!!
I think Chris is his own genre for sure! Check out him with Justin Timberlake on live video Say Something. Or live Cold at CMAs or live I Was Wrong, or Sometimes I Cry. A voice for the ages.
Yes I agree it’s like a hybrid of country, soul, southern rock lol he covers it all with that amazing voice! Great suggestions I’ll check some of those out and share soon 🚀
I love that you are open to good music!! I am 60 and I listen to all genre's of music, cause a good song is a good song period, no matter where it comes from!!
He has a lot of music. I would say, there are 2 that a Chris Stapleton fan has to hear. Both are live versions, "I was Wrong" and the other is "cold" I would advise to do both of them live, because he is to good live to listen to him any other way.
Also, I am loving the different pictures of queen and Freddie in your background, with the split screen of Chris Stapleton. Like all of my favorites together. A couple is other recommendations “ either way” live at Charlie Rose, and H.E.R. With Chris Stapleton singing “Hold on” live at the country music awards.
Ok you want to watch his live performances which sound better than his recordings. 1. Live impromptu performance of It’s A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World 🌎 2. Sometimes I Cry 😢 live at the Bing Lounge 3. I Was Wrong live at Austin City Limits 4. Cold 🥶 live at the 2021 CMA 5. Hold On duet with H.E.R. at the CMA’s I think 2020. 6. You can Google that and get a list of songs and artists. I’m still working on that.

When doing Chris, you should always do live. He is spectacular. The only exception is "fire aways". When you react to "fire away" please do the official video ... favorite live performances is "cold" I believe it is at the CMAs , "White Horse" ...
