  • Statistics suggest that cult groups and counterfeit forms of Christianity, draw far more female adherents than male. In this special Mother's Day message, we examine the biblical directives ensuring God's women are not "taken captive" by false teachers and their false movements.

    As a middle age woman this hits the nail on the head. Preach! Ladies - WAKE UP AND GROW UP. Jesus alone is sufficient for ALL of life and godliness. Trust HIM alone!

    Probably the best Mothers' Day sermon I've heard in all my years in church! Thank you for challenging us, Pastor Tim. We women are vulnerable and there are biblical ways to keep us safe.❤

    Great message. I use to attend hillsong. The more I attended the services the more it felt wrong. At that time I wasn’t saved, I was just a church girl. The sermons are very self centered and are filled with jokes that made me feel like I was at a comedy event and not a church. I am so happy I left all that behind.

    The Lord revealed to us how seeker sensitive the church we had been going to was and my wife and I and another couple had gone to them with the word in love to share what the Lord had been showing us. That there was compromise to scripture and that sin was being tolerated and even encouraged by the leadership and we were shut down and cast out. The Lord had put on our hearts to start a home church together and so that’s where we are now. Sometimes I will preach a message but a lot of Sundays we listen to your teachings as we don’t have a pastor officially yet, and I just want to say that we all appreciate so much what you all do and how you stand on the word of God. Through this home church my family has come to know Christ and because of these hard hitting messages speaking the truth and us leading them in that truth as we all grow together I have seen a true radical change in a lot of them. We love you guys and hope to one day soon visit you all in Orange County! God bless and I am so grateful for the Lord getting ahold of all of us and giving us the honor and the privilege of serving Him to glorify His name and grow the kingdom.

    Thank you! This is a message I am happy to hear on Mothers Day as a new mother even! I have seen this happening to the women in my family and friends circle. I then see it spread to the men who are not really caring to seek out the word but just follow the current that the women create in the church. Nobody, truly seeking the word, just "feelings" that tell them whether the holy spirit is "moving" today or not. Smh. The god they serve is a very weak god...one that needs humans to fight its battles. It needs humans permission to work. People can steal from it. It needs humans to dewrinkle and despot it's church....

    You should dissect “The Chosen” the same way as you did with these “worship” movements. The power behind the gospel is not a popular movement, it’s the power of God for salvation to everyone WHO BELIEVES.

    • @lolly3596
      @lolly3596 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The chosen is great, some hill songs songs are as well. The culture not so much. Nevertheless the problem becomes when we replace the word with those things and when we don’t discern.

    • @krakoosh1
      @krakoosh1 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@lolly3596the Chosen is unbiblical. The advisors of the show are Mormons and Roman Catholics. It is supported with funds from the Mormon church. It is filmed in the Mormon temple. Scripture passages and teachings come from the Book of Mormon. Dallas Jenkins admitted in an interview that 95% of what is in the show doesn’t come from the Bible but directly by God through wheat amounts to automatic writing. He also stated Mormons and Christians worship the same Jesus. As the pastor said, by not knowing the scriptures you will believe anything

      We did the same thing!! I cannot for the life of me understand why some pastors don’t get it!! But the answer I got from the lead pastor was it was the music he liked. We had all the evidence against it but the staff didn’t want to change the artists so after 13yrs of being members we left and found a new church that doesn’t subscribe to this kind of false teaching from Bethel, Hillsong or any of the others involved in that circle. Praise the Lord!!

    Thankful for your boldness and trust in Christ, Pastor! You truly understand the cultural moment we are in and are applying the word wonderfully! I grew up in Cypress and wish I could join your church. We are in the south now. God saved me at 22 years old out of a very wicked lifestyle because of Chuck Smith preaching on the radio as I would drive to work in California in the late 90’s! I definitely was one of these women, but God was faithful to me. I did get caught up in Bethel Church and Hillsong for quite a while, but God moved me to the south during the pandemic and everything changed. God used John MacArthur’s preaching to get my attention. The sermons about Beth Moore going home lol. I no longer listen to any false teachers.

    Hillsong have been able to covertly insert 'self centered' lyrics and make them sound like 'worship' of Jesus. I believe that those who care and are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit should notice the subtle heresy of many of their songs very quickly.

      The idea that there are christian music awards or even grammy's.. Begs the question.. Who they're really making this music for.... Can you imagine king David & His musicians going to these award shows.
      Years ago I discovered that churches have to pay royalties whenever they play songs from the celebrated Christian artists, the scales started falling off my eyes and even now continue to do so to the 'evangelical industrial complex' as it so called or church business
      It grieves so deeply.. Makes me think of similar grief our Lord Jesus Christ experienced with the Pharisees, scribes&religious leaders when He dwelt among us in the flesh😢
      But as He said of the Pharisees who loved money Luke 6:24
      "But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort."

    I once heard Beverly LeHaye say, at the head of every ungodly organization you will find a woman. It goes all the way back to the garden of Eden. Eve took the lead over her husband Adam. Adam submitted to Eve and so sin entered into the world. Women are led by their emotions
    Wow. I wrote this at the start of the video. Guess I’m not as dumb as church elders tell me I am. 😂

    Here in Australia, it was too common in the late 90s to 2000s for the youth group to go to the Hillsong Conferences regardless of your denomination. It pains me that this is the type of Christianity Australia is exporting to the world.

    This is also the reason the secular world loves to push women up the ladder into positions of power and influence, because they can be easily emotionally manipulated...and they feel compelled to comply because they know they didn't earn their position, and it can be taken away causing the loss of prestige and lifestyle.
