Master Yi Jungle -
With an efficient Jungle path all you need to do is grab Skirmisher's Sabre with the Bloodrazer enchantment. Coupled with a Guinsoo's Rageblade and you can literally start destroying everyone in the game.
Therefore just build whatever you like once those 2 items have been purchased. Options include: Spear of Shojin, Deaths Dance, Guardian Angel.
Against AP teams you can grab Wits End, Adaptive Helm, Spirit Visage, Mercurial Scimitar.
If the enemy is AD heavy you have the option to rush Randuin's Omen after your core, along with GA, Deaths Dance and Deadman's Plate. VERY versatile and safe, just dont buy silly items like Full AD no defensive items after your core build.

for anyone wondering if there were "big" misplays in the early game - there were. the pathing you should've taken if you wanted to start botside was: blue>gromp>scuttle and then do a transition gank through mid to collect 2 minions worth of XP for that level 3 and you're on the correct side of the map without leaving your jungle open for an invade. you would hit level 4 by skipping wolves anyway, so you don't really need those and they aren't worth it if you're exposing your entire jungle to warwick, who's just stronger than you and you lose 2v2 and 3v3 100% of time, especially since your toplaner died once. in this game, i would've started red buff because of number of reasons:
1) if you get invaded and you have blue, while the enemy has red, you lose that 1v1. red buff enables you to fight back
2) red-krugs-raptors OR scuttle gives you level 3, which protects you from the enemy invade.
3) second krug spawn would be faster (even though they would only be level 3 as opposed to level 5 when you start botside) and you'd start on the side of the map you either want to impact with full HP and ASAP or you want to ignore it entirely. by doing bot-to-top clear, you'll never be full hp for a gank and you lose 2v2 very hard if it happens
4) playing for botside is the correct decision here (volatile matchup, you have twitch/galio on your side, dragon control - even if it's a clown drake, while herald isn't on the map)
5) enables second spawn red to be at 6:40, which is about the time you can hit level 6 and use its power to get an objective
6) it's overall better for powerfarming as a full clear is much more natural without exposing your side of the jungle for too long
i've paused the video to type this on 5:34 video time, but it somewhat triggered me. also, you should ALWAYS ward your opposite side of the jungle river (the side that you're not starting on) if you can't rely or expect of your team to do it for you. warding like in your scenario is inefficient cause of so many reasons, one of which is that the popular route involves taking krugs and then scuttle, but by the time they finish krugs, you have already done scuttle, as gromp takes much less time to kill, especially with machete start and the other is pretty obvious and that's because it's protecting your other side of the jungle and you can react to an invade accordingly.
ill agree his jgling is very triggering, i didnt mind his older tryndamere gameplay but this video hes made, triggered the absolute shit out of me because of the incredible ammount of misplay, and if this is meant to teach people to jungle as yi, its a poor example to follow, there were ALOT of times where he was much stronger than champs he was literally beside and could have easily just killed them and had much more time for objectives, like the renek in the top lane early on when he had 2 levels on him and ult ready with red smite ready then went and took rift, but instead walked around mid alot and wasted about a minute instead of just killing him then getting rift immediately, i am actually currently triggered to the point i had to check to see if anyone else was thinking the same thing as me and just scrolled down to comments.

Thanks for saying I won't use e so I can get 7 ad. It saved me from wasting my 24 minutes.
As a secondary tree take the red runes and get the spell vamp.
It works with your E, rageblade, Q, bork, red buff, smite and jungle item damage. 50-80% of your lategame damage is affected by it, depending on the enemy armor. Movementspeed is irrelevant if you have either Q up (2-5 s cd with spear), r up (otherwise dont engage) or bork an enemy. Furthermore your q/flash (engage) synergizes with the "jump"-runes lethality. If somebody can outrun a Yi with R the little bit of MS from blue tree is irrelevant. Btw if your team is smart the adc lets u get red because its 2-4 times as strong on you, as it is twice as effective on melee champs (dmg stacks with rageblade).
If you REALLY need speed take the approach velocity (+bork) and speed boots then you can chase a rammus/heca for a few seconds but imo its not worth at all.
Use E against jungle mobs with high armor or damage output if the monster doesnt move after your q (means no champion is arround, the mob aggros the closest and as you vanish for a split sec it will change the aggro on the closeset champ(2:23), so if possible first aa the camp then q). Clearspeed is really important and you get double AD plus true DMG. dont use it if there might be a fight in the next few seconds (less than 20s).
First 3 or 4 attacks by Grump will hurt af and are faster dodge nr 1 with Q and block with W as nr 2 hits you normally you can avoid about half of the grump damage.
3:20 Isn´t 16 cs 4 camps 1 camp = 4cs so 16/4 = 4?
7:46 dodge gold card with q instantly cast red smite and e a = 2 hits less from him, get 1 step closer to jinx and dodge 1 aa (u qd before it) then with the galio cc you could kill them (with red spellvamp rune) and triumph.

Yeah plz, its the counter of all melee champs. BaLoRi build combines tankyness with reflect/burn dmg, really good to solo carry games. I play with ignite tp and max q tho.

You want to use your E as much as possible while jungling because you lose a little ad but gain true damage on all onhit effect triggers. That includes your passive double strike. The perfect moment to use it is right after you used Q, because the Q dmg is affected by your additional ad.
Another pathing idea for you: skip the red in the first clear and do it after the golems. That way you dont have to wait for the golems to spawn in your second clear if you time your second clear perfectly. (All camps, excluding buffs, spawn 2:30 minutes after they were cleared)
Why not to take the keystone you picked: true dmg is the main dmg source of master yi if you build rb, but it isnt amplified by dmg aplifiers. That includes the 12% of the keystone.
11:35: exactly 30 seconds after it turned yellow it spawns.

Tip with master yi - if you alpha strike a camp and it moves, it's targeting someone nearby. If you think you might be being cheesed you can auto - Q and instantly get the information that the enemy jungler is nearby :D
Hey Jay, you'll want to use E to clear camps whenever you're sure the enemy jungler won't invade and find you. If you think there's a possibility for them to come after you, you should save it to fight them.

Use e when your not anticipating a fight. Early game probably save e when your doing scuttle incase the enemy contests. Also you can use yi's w as an auto rest in tight situations when u have not back up. And if your doing jg camps solo and you use alpha strike and the jg monster moves it means some one is nearby. (Good way to know if someone's in the bush next to you lol)
Use youre E right before you double slap cause your early game attack speed makes the buff last for about 5 autos. So you can auto auto auto E double aa aa aa double, then itll go out.

Raid boss Kassadin! Rush an iceborngauntlet and buy rod of ages, abyssal mask and frozen heart. Your ultimate damage scales off of mana and his base damages is really nutty. I would probably take grasp of the undying as keystone but the runes is up to you.
From what I have learned about master Yi is you can get 2 double strike triggers early with true damage if you use your e right before the first double strike. In my opinion it is better then saving it. but save it when taking scuttle for potential fights against the enemy jungler.
Finally a good video for low elo players, and that was the point of the series.

Jay in the jungle you want to activate E to clear if you think you will not fight enemy jungler while it's on cooldown specy on crab cause the on hit true damage adds more than the pasive ad early
You need open you E in jungle camps which has high armor like crugs and crab
edit: if you take Ravenous Hunter you can solo baron at 20 Cowsep has guild for it
Relentless is often WAY stronger on junglers, as it's essentially a free Boots of Mobility, allowing you to either buy another set of boots like Merc Treads if you're up against a champ like Sejuani or Lissandra, or even just double down on the Gotta Go Fast by buying BoM. However, as you saw, Jay went WW and Celerity to max out the benefit of river ganks and duels. Cowsep took the Baron-build because if you haven't noticed, he's REALLY good at the game, and so was able to get fed enough to do that. The average player? Not so much.

@@siryuz1172 I do, but to be fair, I'm also an oldfag who remembers the old days when you regularly built crit or AP on Yi instead of attack speed and onhit, so my memories of the champ are horribly skewed.
2:48 the reason why warwick stayed on you was because he held down his q. When you hold down the q on ww when the enemy dashes, flashes, etc, you stay on top of them. So ww just stayed on you when you hit the blast cone. Not a bug.
For Master Yi jungle, you don't use your E on camps. It take about 2 autos out of the entire clear and you won't have it if the enemy invades you. The risk vs reward isn't worth it.
I'm getting a lot of mixed answers to using E on jungle camps in the comments with extremes saying it hurt their eyes that I chose not to use E on the camps.
@@JaySea You really shouldn't. I'm 100% positive you shouldn't. The only thing it helps on is krugs and scuttle and it doesn't help enough to make up for the damage you lose while it's on cooldown.

Iirc Cowsep also says it's ok to use it on the bigger/buff camps, and the best way to effectively use it is right when you're about to get your two autos from passive, that way you get the most amount of autos from the duration, but it's not worth using on small camps. Also use it after q. Just something I have to mentally tell myself from time to time.

xin's E is a dive ability, but doesnt double up as an escape unlike most tops....youre pretty open to ganks and failed trades because you need to back off after a trade and your e doesnt help because you most probly used it during the trade.

I personally like going conqueror with ravenous Hunter for the healing you get from your E it makes your life alot easier. Also instead spear of shojin wits end is pretty good to sub take instead :)

You are right about the lp gains and losses, something is wrong. On my main account I have 58% avg win rate and I get 14 lp a win and lose 20 for every loss. I have played over 200 games too and the it still hasn’t changed. It’s made the grind too much of a grind this season.

at 18:30, should've started attacking creeps for your q cd, then q the TF stun and get right into your w for healing and damage reduction

For your first clear on Yi you want to use your E to speed things up but after your first b you want to save it in case you need it.
Warwick's Q, if you time it right with your dash through, you can TP with the enemy.
With Yi and gromp. You want to auto and instantly W before it autos then W for full duration. :) basically full health after

You can activate E during jungle clear, if the monster is kind of low and e goes on cd when it dies.

Garen top lane ( TP + Flash ) build - Black Cleaver > Frozen Mallet > Boots of swift > Rand omen > adaptive helm. rune is grasp + 5% magic resist and armor.
8:05 You couldn't q to lane minion because your q wasn't in range of a minion. You couldn't run away because jinx had a trap right behind you. The real mistake was not smiting the warwick early. He landed a few abilities and auto's on you before you smited him
When Master Yi Jungling, you can use your E to help clear out camps. But if you aren't sure whether you might get invaded or not by enemies, keep E up.

Just came here after getting demoted, from Silver to bronze I, then Bronze II, then Bronze III. Gave up on being a support so many smurfs.....SO JUNGLE MUST BE THE PLACE FOR ME!!
I tried Yi once i couldn't hard stomp and i felt he wasn't enough, i didn't feel that power from him......SO KHA ZIX!!!!....i actually did pretty decent and carried a bit, BUT FOR SOME REASON!!!!!! hehehe my bot always get's hard stomped.....the stress i feel when i check what the support is doing....OMF.*.
