So far of all the boosts you’ve used I seem to like the life that the mud killer puts into the amps the most but I have yet to try one. Might have to make it the next on my drive list. So far I’m liking my maxon ST9 pro+ the most. The maxon you demos here might work best on what you’ve said which would be more thin sounding amps. Great vid!
I've got the VOX mini super beetle and it's got those Nu tube pre amps in it and it's pretty good but it's more like classics stones and Beatles tone but gets nice and raunchy with klon drive or BBE Boosta grande ! I'd say they are very relevant technology that has yet see it's full potential. Korg also has a synthesizer system with a Nu tube technology in it as well which I want to get my hands on and try out but it's not super high on my budget priority 😅
I don’t think the stealth red channel needs a boost tbh. I have the Evh 50w non stealth and the Maxon OD 808 sounds killer boosting the blue channel. Good vid🤘
Ive gotten 3 Boutique drive pedals. And the mass produced variants. I see no difference sonically. But potentiometer settings are vastly different for the same tone. And truthfully i only got the teek versions for the artwork and the stickers....
Yes, this video needs to happen and the world of boutique pedal builders almost said poop Teek our Boss SD one and all that still relevant and do they get the job done or are you wasting your money on all the boutique pedals?

BTW your camera footage is looking very smooth. 👍
Love the huge Fart Clipping at 12:00. 😂😂😂😂
Excellent video!
I love a good round sound, slightly less gainy but very agressive. I think it would do well with many amps like you said.

tell that to Brandon Ellis of Black dahlia murder
I love these pedals. Any real tube tech in a pedal is.groovy
What kind of camera are you using?
What does the boost knob do and what does the drive knob do?
Boost adds boost and drive adds drive. Hope that helps!

try it on clean channel on its own would be great just to hear it
because you didnt turn the drive
I think if he turned that drive, it would just b noise, feedback
@ yes probably would but just wanted to how it would sound through a clean amp on its own
To my ears the Maxon took something away from the amps, least favorite of the bunch. The odd box is the Tits.
Shut up bitch
