So i want to gain knowledge and my aim will crack gate 2027 with top ranks. So kindly give me some suggestions sir.
Hi, I am glad that you have made a plan towards your career success. I would give you three suggestions: 1. Don't wait until 2027 to get confidence about your subject. It's always better to come out as a confident engineer from college and you have more than a year time to complete your degree (that's ample time). 2. While preparing for placements, give full attention and learn all that's needed to clear even top interviews (both technical, aptitude and soft skills). It's nothing like having a job in hand. Let that be your first priority. 3. For GATE, if you put dedicated effort, you will only need 6 months of time to get fair knowledge on all the basics. Hence, set your target as GATE 2026. Finally, don't worry that you lack knowledge. Past is past! Just start with curiosity about your subjects in the present semester and try to do well. If we want to change our life, the best day to start is today! Prepare with joy! All the very best!
Sir one doubt is that we are preparing for semesters, practicals, writing tutorials continuosly ,labs and many more tests are going continuously day by day can we study parallely for gate 2026 with full dedication and hard work on full next year can I get good marks for getting into psu's ? I wanted to do well and try to score more marks thats why I told if I prepare for full complete year definitely I will achieve and get more marks in gate 2027 is that needed full year after completed BE or can i study hard before 2026 gate exam and get good marks .Is this possible to crack gate with good marks that i get into psu's by 2026 gate exam by studying next full year . First of all, may your aspirations come true! 1. Placement - If you get placed in an MNC, there are chances that they send you for onsite opportunities. (This is the cheapest route, because company will take care of all expenses). 2. MS - it's a good route but don't do it for the purpose of going abroad. As its costly, if you do a wrong course, you will be stuck with it to pay the loan back. Instead, do it in a space you are really passionate about. Many students work in India through their placement for three years, understand the area in which their real interest lies and then do MS in that area. 3. GATE - will help you to get into good IITs and the possibility of getting abroad placements or MNC placements are there, if your present college doesn't have such options. As you are in your second year, I would ask you to focus on the present and do well on your subjects & develop skills. Anna what about petrochemical engineering in anna university - bit campus.. my sister has just started her career.. i wanted to know about the future scopes do you have any idea
Yes, in terms of GATE she can write Chemical Engineering paper and can get into Petroleum companies like ONGC, HPCL etc. Otherwise, there is also scope in private petroleum refineries in R&D, Quality Control, Process Engineering etc., If she gets specialized in Pipe design etc., there are lot of scope in Middle East based organizations.
Sir, my daughter is studying chemical engineering 3 year in ssn collage, she wants to do gate exam. Is there scope for chemical in psu? What percentage we have to get in gate exam, we belongs to OC category
Yes madam. Petroleum PSUs like IOCL, ONGC etc take chemical engineers who write CH gate paper. I would say, let her prepare and give a good attempt in 3rd year. That will give good idea and she can decide to improve her score in final year. As per my knowledge, SSN also has good placements and even some core companies come for chemical students. This preparation will help her to crack those easily as well. She can decide based on the choices as I discuss in this video.

Arrears doesn't matter for GATE exam!! You can write it, clear it, get admission in IIT / NIT MTech and even get PSU jobs. Some PSUs only ask for 60% of marks. Some ask for first class. For placements from MTechs - yes, there are few companies which say no History of arrear. But many allow based on a minimum mark percentage. Also, develop skill in one area very strongly. You will get job off campus. Many don't see the marks but just skill When you go offcampus. All the best. Let your struggles change into success!!
You mean stream? If you are asking about degree, then engineering. If you are asking about stream, then the stream which is most aligned to your interests and dreams.
Sir I had some doubt Now , im doing btech IT 2nd year Im not interested in pg and higher studies i want to go for job after my ug graduation If i prepare gate exam it will help for my job opportunity?? Pls reply sir.
Through GATE, you will be able to get into government sector PSU companies. However, for IT vacancies are comparatively less. So do work towards your college placements.
Go by your interest and work hard. There are opportunities for biotechnology through GATE Exam and GAT-B exam. It's a research oriented field and there are growing private opportunities also. All the best.
Sir I have completed my 12th I have joined mechanical in tier 1 college in Tamilnadu. But I'm not good in concepts of 11th and 12th, now I wanted to start preparing for gate. From where I can start? Coaching centre na endha coaching centre best?
Self study is best bro , unga dept syllabus ah pathutu,1 year la engineering mathematics kum aptitude kum prepare pannunga,2 nd year to 3 year unga core subjects than syllabus ah irukum itha nalla concepts purinchu padinga , previous year questions solve panni parunga
School marks won't affect your placements. The only place where it will come is your resume. If you have 70 or 75% in college, then it shows your hardwork and will give good impression. So work hard in college.
It varies. They charge one-time fees, regular fees per semester and for hostel. In IIT Madras, it comes around 50k per semester with hostel, I think. In some NITs it can be higher than this also.
That's just fantastic! Very glad! 1. Get to know the syllabus - try to get subject's application in real world and futuristic developments beforehand. So you know what to anticipate in lectures. By curriculum itself, first year will be tight and you will learn a lot this way. 2. Try to develop plans for your 2nd year project from now itself (that will help you to develop curiosity). You will naturally search for journals and recent developments. That will reflect in your seminars, and course work. You will also know which faculty is in that research area. Use every opportunity to present papers and you may be able to submit a research paper by the end of second year that way. 3. Network (Future Google CEO may be studying in Metallurgy again) 4. Make full use of campus life. Live your fullest and don't forget to have lots of fun. 5. Very important: will you be interested in sharing your GATE preparation journey for students? Pls drop a mail to helpingstonecareer@gmail.com All the very best!! Use the campus to the maximum
@@Ebenezer_CareerAnalyst thank you so much Sir for your words. It’s been after several attempts I cleared GATE…So I don’t think I’m the right person to answer your question. I’d like to share the mistakes I made during the preparation journey: 1) Failing to prepare while still in college as I had the perception that the regular college coursework is just sufficient. A little extra effort is required. 2) Taking the semester exams and assignments too seriously 🙈 3) Not giving importance to all the PYQs of all subjects 4) Attending questions which I wasn’t too sure…negative marks can be a game changer. During this attempt I had no negative marks. Praise God for that. 5) Learning alone without a peer group and just relying solely on TH-cam. 6) Moving from one exam to another as the notification pops up. 7) Not consistent with the test series. Practices I followed: 1) Had a small notepad for every subject where I noted all the formulas ( short notes) , mnemonics and tricks. Kept that handy and revised it numerous times. 2) Made a list of mistakes I did in the test series. 3) after studying a particular topic, solved PYQs related to that particular topic. 4) Having a healthy balanced lifestyle…don’t always study study study..keep up with your hobbies as well, they aren’t a waste of time. 5) Do your best and leave the rest in God’s hand. He’ll take good care of your future. He has good plans in store for everyone. Hope this helps😅😅
All streams are eligible for GATE. If you like CS / AIDS and believe that's your field heartfully, pls go ahead and take it. You have opportunities across the world. GATE will give you options to get into IITs and bug companies from there PSUs have not updated AIDS in recruitment as for as I know. But CS has vacancies (comparatively less). Follow your heart and excel in what you study. All the best.

Yes, You can take Mechanical Engineering or ECE paper, whichever you feel convenient with. PSUs may not take Robotics UG, you can use GATE for PG in IITs. And dont be worried, there are many good opportunities from private companies, if you work towards it. Its a booming field, so develop skills and be updated. All the very best.
For PSUs, it's very less. They may prefer mechanical/ Production in UG mostly. If you don't have much placements in your college, writing ME paper or even better XE paper can help you to get seat in IITs / NITs to get core placements from there.

However, due to some carelessness and financial issues, I wasn't able to achieve that goal. I'm currently working at TCS with a salary of 8 LPA and have been in the job for 2.5 years. Is it still worth preparing for the GATE exam? Or should i prepare for product based companies and switch Please reply
Hi yes, many young professionals go through this dilemma. I assume you are from IT/CS background. I would recommend to self-reflect and do a career exploration process for yourself. Consider your skills, aspirations, career vision and long-term goals into consideration. Consider various options available and try to put a timeline for action. That will give you a clear picture. 2.5 years is good time for you to evaluate the options and take informed decision. If you want help, we can do it together.
@@Ebenezer_CareerAnalyst1 doubt sir does jobs like drdo sees history of arrears
@@pavithl8172 they just want first class. You should have cleared all the arrears that's all. I think for Anna University 60% is first class.
@@Ebenezer_CareerAnalyst Thanks for your kind reply sir. As my doubts cleared I will prepare for gate well.
Which degree is best for cracking gate exam
You mean stream?
If you are asking about degree, then engineering.
If you are asking about stream, then the stream which is most aligned to your interests and dreams.
Sir gate syllabus year year maruma ?
Illa, very rare unless they do a revision.
Sir
I had some doubt
Now , im doing btech IT 2nd year
Im not interested in pg and higher studies i want to go for job after my ug graduation
If i prepare gate exam it will help for my job opportunity??
Pls reply sir.
Through GATE, you will be able to get into government sector PSU companies. However, for IT vacancies are comparatively less.
So do work towards your college placements.
Sir,I completed 12th and
I am interested in biotech and want to clear gate exam .Is biotechnology a core subject ah sir...
Go by your interest and work hard. There are opportunities for biotechnology through GATE Exam and GAT-B exam. It's a research oriented field and there are growing private opportunities also. All the best.
Thank you sir
Hi I completed my B.E in 2019.I was able to apply gate exam
Yes. You can apply for GATE exam. There is no age limit for taking GATE. For PSUs, upper limits are around 30.

True.
Hlo sir . Schools la low % like
School marks won't affect your placements. The only place where it will come is your resume. If you have 70 or 75% in college, then it shows your hardwork and will give good impression. So work hard in college.
Sir Does cgpa and college matter in psu interview?
For eligibility you will need a cgpa above 6. Some may ask for 6.5. Otherwise only your GATE score matters.
1. What would be the fees structure if i clear gate exam in all NITs,IITs?
It varies. They charge one-time fees, regular fees per semester and for hostel. In IIT Madras, it comes around 50k per semester with hostel, I think. In some NITs it can be higher than this also.
Recently joined in IIT KGP for MTech in material science and engineering. Can you share how one can make best use of these two years ?
That's just fantastic! Very glad!
1. Get to know the syllabus - try to get subject's application in real world and futuristic developments beforehand. So you know what to anticipate in lectures.
By curriculum itself, first year will be tight and you will learn a lot this way.
2. Try to develop plans for your 2nd year project from now itself (that will help you to develop curiosity). You will naturally search for journals and recent developments. That will reflect in your seminars, and course work. You will also know which faculty is in that research area. Use every opportunity to present papers and you may be able to submit a research paper by the end of second year that way.
3. Network (Future Google CEO may be studying in Metallurgy again)
4. Make full use of campus life. Live your fullest and don't forget to have lots of fun.
5. Very important: will you be interested in sharing your GATE preparation journey for students? Pls drop a mail to helpingstonecareer@gmail.com
All the very best!!
Use the campus to the maximum
@@Ebenezer_CareerAnalyst thank you so much Sir for your words.
It’s been after several attempts I cleared GATE…So I don’t think I’m the right person to answer your question.
I’d like to share the mistakes I made during the preparation journey:
1) Failing to prepare while still in college as I had the perception that the regular college coursework is just sufficient. A little extra effort is required.
2) Taking the semester exams and assignments too seriously 🙈
3) Not giving importance to all the PYQs of all subjects
4) Attending questions which I wasn’t too sure…negative marks can be a game changer. During this attempt I had no negative marks. Praise God for that.
5) Learning alone without a peer group and just relying solely on TH-cam.
6) Moving from one exam to another as the notification pops up.
7) Not consistent with the test series.
Practices I followed:
1) Had a small notepad for every subject where I noted all the formulas ( short notes) , mnemonics and tricks.

If I get BE CSE or Btech AIDS I will eligible for gate or not
All streams are eligible for GATE.
If you like CS / AIDS and believe that's your field heartfully, pls go ahead and take it. You have opportunities across the world.
GATE will give you options to get into IITs and bug companies from there
PSUs have not updated AIDS in recruitment as for as I know. But CS has vacancies (comparatively less).
Follow your heart and excel in what you study. All the best.

If you have interest on IT / CS pls go by your heart. Don't worry. CS jobs are comparatively less for PSUs but if you are determined you may get one.
If you are passionate about CS / IT and develop skills sky is the limit for you. Why not Google / Amazon? Just go ahead and prepare well with free mind.
Sir Im studying bsc mathamatics can i also prepare for gate is there is opportunity for bsc mathematics students writing gate exam can i get psu job's please solluga sir
BSc maths is good subject. GATE score will be useful only if you write after MSc.
There are many other vacancies for BSc students in PSUs. They will directly have exams. Will soon make a video for non engineering students.

Sir I am first year student if I write gate exam and get into IIT for higher studies will they provide a job or placement in abroad
Direct abroad placements may not be there or it will be very less only. But you can get placed in MNCs, which will help you to go abroad easily.

For PSUs, it's very less. They may prefer mechanical/ Production in UG mostly.
If you don't have much placements in your college, writing ME paper or even better XE paper can help you to get seat in IITs / NITs to get core placements from there.
sir my daughter is going to join SSN for chemical engg.,what types of coaching she can start from1st yr for gate, u r a eyeopener reagars gate exam for parents like me. pls can u specify any particular reckoners and what is 2 papers options of writing in gate ...

Two paper option: Along with Chemical Engineering she is allowed to take few papers as combination. Some papers are easy to score and helps to get seat in IITs. Will be sharing the details of such combinations soon in another video.
Regarding reckoner: For now, she can start with having solved GATE Previous Year Questions of Maths and General Aptitude in the first year. I have added some book suggestions in this video's description.

Sir, im 2nd year mechanical student and I don't have decent CGPA. seriously I just want to crack gate exam..if I do crack it ,whether my CGPA does affect it or not? What should I do ,sir ?
Having a CGPA about 6.5 will be good. As many companies demand that score.
You are only in 2nd year, so improve your CGPA from now onwards to maximum level possible. it will always open more opportunities for you.

I'm feeling quite confused right now. I'm 24 years old and have dreamed of clearing the GATE exam to get into a top IIT since my undergraduate studies. However, due to some carelessness and financial issues, I wasn't able to achieve that goal. I'm currently working at TCS with a salary of 8 LPA and have been in the job for 2.5 years. Is it still worth preparing for the GATE exam? Or should i prepare for product based companies and switch

Please use this link: topmate.io/ebenezer_b/1093599
