Great! Thanks! I'm one of those naughty editors that applies a LUT or two first - though they are my own home-made ones that compensate for the idiosyncracies of my various cameras and I do find it quicker to apply those and then tweak individual clips afterwards. My Canon G7 x mii for example ALWAYS over-reds my face, so I have a hsl secondary LUT for that and my GoPro 9 in flat colour mode always seems to have not enough green in the shadows, so I just batch apply and then sort out any over-shadow-greening or under-face-redding on a clip-by-clip basis. Loving the learning process! Thanks for the video. 😃
No I'd say you're doing the right thing. As long as it is a legitimate workflow that you've developed and it works for you in producing clean, predictable results every time then you are on the right track.
@@colorgradingcentral Oooh thank you! That's reassuring. I thought I would get a few years down the line and have a revelation about why I was doing it all wrong! Ha ha! Thanks.
Hey. I'm thinking of buying the plug in. Does it work on all video profiles though? I own a Sony a73 and mostly use cine 2. Also will the plug-in be available for me to download forever from the site after purchasing?
You can use whatever input LUTs you have for Slog to Rec709 conversion or use the ACES color management that support SLog. Yes it's a one time purchase and then you own it for life.
I made a personal LUT for this years ago and then Adobe came out with their own. Add it in the effects tab before export, works exactly as it’s supposed to. Matt Johnson did a video on this as well and in the description of his video he provides a link to the blog post from Adobe where you can download the correction LUT. Hope this helps!
@@BenjaminEck I appreciate that but I watched Matt's old video when it came out back then and used to use his LUT to correct the issue. I moved on from Premiere and switched to Resolve at v16 and have never looked back. Resolve actually lets you pick your gamma tag and color space tag on export so colors/contrast don't shift. It's mind blowing to me that by the year 2022 Adobe still requires a "workaround" for something so basic.
I had a one of the most difficult question in my mind which editing software should i use premiere pro or Davinci resolve can someone help me it's life changing moment to choose a software to edit i know Davinci resolve is best for colour grading but I'm not talking about that im talking about just tell me which software is best premiere pro or Davinci resolve in one word!!!!!

I've been using your free luts for a while now they are amazing and my favourite is DRIVE lit🔥
Thanks for cinema Grade really. Just can't wait to make block busters with it ;)
hi, is it a one time purchase? is the plug in permanent after the one time payment?
You're welcome, I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Thank you from Nepal
All until you export your video and Premiere completely changes the gamma and saturation levels on ya.

Adobe PR.
There’s only one mistake that anyone makes when using premiere for grading and that’s using premiere full stop
Mistake number 1: do color grading in the premiere pro when u have DaVinci 😀😀😀
Good
Link invalid
#1 choosing Premiere for color grading
Mistake #1: using lumetri to color grade
