MLB seriously need to do something about the 10 game suspension for relievers compared to starters. Starters miss 1 game, meanwhile relievers miss 4-5. Plus the one that they get tossed from. Ridiculous.

The Mets could improve their winning percentage by replacing Alonso. His fielding is fair, but Lindor has almost an many HRs as Alonso, and Lindor gets on base much more often. Alonso is pretty mediocre for a "cleanup" hitter.
Mendoza should’ve removed Scott after 5, or once he hit 90 pitches. The kid looked spent!

If a starting pitcher has good stuff and is in good condition, first time through the opposing batting lineup usually is not problematic, it's usually the second or even third time through the opposing order that could be a challenge, as Mitchell Parker vs. the Mets lineup demonstrated last night in DC.
Games must be closed out. This game should have been won. Keep fighting go Mets go 😠
